Thank-you for the video, Alex! That was some stunning views of a remarkably beautiful aircraft. That different nose design is now starting to grow on me, and as the A220’s and Embraer keep rolling aircraft off the assembly line, I’m guessing that is the look for a long while. I’m also guessing if you are the boss of WestJet, you get your name taped to the side of any aircraft you want in your fleet. The tower guy’s question intrigued me in 2 ways: First, if WestJet assigns seats, and the seats are already reserved, is someone going to kick folks to different seats to accommodate the tower crew? Secondly, a while back when I was among the “forward” group for a winter business trip to Germany, a guy asked us how the weather was. The guy was also retired military who had been stationed there in the past, and winter in Germany does not look all that much different than what you posted. Nevertheless, we told him that the temperature was between the high 70ºF and mid 80ºF, and they should bring summer wear and swim suits. I guess the tower guy’s question was not so dumb after all. Thank-you again for your post .
