+Benny Tsui One reason is their music isn't theirs. They're good singers sure, but they rightfully lose a lot of respect for doing so many covers and rarely writing their own music. I do like this song, except problem is, it's written by Gary Barlow from Take That (the only boyband I respect as artists) and producer John Shanks. They also barely venture away from ballads, which shows they have hardly any range. I'm not trying to be mean or in anyway say you shouldn't like them. If you like their sound, then great, enjoy them. I'm just trying to explain what others are seeing.

Only huge superstars or prime ministers have it but when they came over they were treated equally the same. My car was just behind them n i thought someone big was passing by and we gave the cars the way. After that when i saw Shane ig update n i knew it was them lol

They aren’t really underrated. Westlife ruled the 90s and early 2000s. They were popular everywhere. Not so much in USA compared to others big in all other continents of the world, they were a hit. But you know, people of the late 2010s and 2020s have a different song choice now. Those noisy songs with no sense 😭, they don’t appreciate masterpieces like these anymore

It was only at #11 in UK Chart in 2011--the first ever year that they didn't have a song in the top 10 for 14 yrs and also the year they announced they split :( When people heard about the devastating news, it became a wake up call and reminder for many how amazing Westlife is.

The song Lighthouse is particularly honest and concluded. Ireland is a beautiful and compelling background of this success. Some of their music pieces are expressive. Many classes of societies are segregated and leveled for their own authenticity. I avoid coming across the less privileged ones. They could be sorrow and dreadful deception. It's sad I can't see them on their Farewell Tour since I'm in the US. I grew up listening to them. I'm 18 now and I have been listening to them since I was about three/four years old. They were very popular in the Philippines. They never ceased to amaze me. From their covers to their own songs, I can't help but fall in love with every single one. All of their voices are amazing and synchronizes well. I couldn't ask for a better music group to look up to and listen to. You guys will be missed.
