Former British Ambassador to the US Sir Peter Westmacott says that the Labour Party will seek to avoid raising taxes across the board to avoid driving wealth and investment away from the UK.

Second the *Global* financial crisis was a result of an over leveraged banking system triggered by a Mortgage Backed Securities crisis in the US, has literally nothing to do with Labour policy.
