I love them! I have 2. Trying to decide which color to get next. Also, I love the bullet container because I like magnetic bullets. I don’t pick up on any scent. I think it’s just a situation of where social media is doing a number on this product.

I bought one and I didnt care for it. It made my lips look dry and textured. I’ll try it again over a balm. The component is a little bulky and awkward but not a deal breaker! I love that it’s refillable and not a waste of packaging ❤ These lip swatches look great on you!

It won’t transform your dry lips, it’s not a lip salve.

So I hadn’t heard much about these and decided to look them up after I bought one yesterday. It’s incredible. I am not having any issues at all, not drying, not making my 42 year old lips look older, even the longevity has been impressive. And the color is beyond fabulous! I went home with Le Rouge and it’s one of the top two reds that I own. It not fitting in my lipstick holder is a bit annoying though

I acquired Je Reve during the Sephora sale. I am a bold lip person, yet I love this formula. Lasts and looks flawless. I will say that it shade pulls a tad peachy/orange on me. I correct it with a pink lip pencil. I do not detect a strong scent and the case is substantial. Will I purchase more? When they come out with more blue-toned shades.

Great aesthetic showcase of the Lip Suede Mattes and swatches. Le Rouge, Pip and Ma Riche💓 Lacker looks so mod and 60s. They are some of the richest colors and great for both beauty as well fashion. I am planning to own a few. The packaging is very luxe. I do imagine only one can travel as we go.

I have LFG because fuchsia is a tough colour to find. I like them. No issue. May get another colour eventually. Between these and Chanel I prefer these. I try to wear clean as much as I can. Keep up the great work!

These are getting such mixed reviews. So interesting. I tend to like demi matte comfortable formulas like Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel and my favorite Maybelline matte lip crayons. I am going to try the new Merit instead. I have heard these feel gritty too. I’m wondering if there are issues with bad batches. They look gorgeous on you!❤

I also heard highly critical reviews. Nonetheless, I ordered Je Reve and I really enjoy it! I do put a light layer of balm underneath (as advised by Gucci W) and I don’t see any texture. That said, I agree with you - I don’t really think of these as matte lipsticks.

Can you suggest a lip liner for LFG? Also, how would compare LFG to the Chanel Nuit Blanche 3:00? I am looking for a fuchsia and cannot decide between the two. Thanks!

I have both. LFG is more vibrant fuchsia and demi-matte while Chanel Nuit Blanche is more matte and rosy rather than fuchsia. Love them both.

@@mariac6759thanks for the description bc I was wondering the same - but maybe “no thanks” bc they sound different and both fabulous, LOL - I have some of the other colors in the Chanel and thought those were demi-matte and moisturizing (to me), so now I’m really really interested in LFG if you think it’s more “demi-matte” than the other - I like “somewhat” matte finishes so I’m just now super enticed 😅😊

I’m more interested now… I suppose I was worried by reviews bc sometimes too much HA makes my skin drier - especially eyes or lips - and it is weird bc sometimes the more “natural” lip products dry out my lips - like the laneige lip balms make my lips super dry - or lip oils are the worst- it’s a “me” problem for sure - the colors look fantastic though and her face products have been wonderful to me

I heard that these are “gritty” as if the kaolin clay (or whatever the matte-ness is) is not smooth and creating an unpleasant texture. I wouldn’t surprised if they got a bad lot, and since these don’t have standard preservatives, that may well be possible if things weren’t shipped correctly.

I have not noticed anything, but when you mentioned, if you really closely sniff them😂 there is a slight vanilla cookie smell (like in CT lipsticks, but 100 times less pronounces). Why would that bother anyone is beyond me. Are all smells our enemies?

I LOVE Westman Atelier but I do not like these lipsticks. I have dry lips, sun-damaged lips, scarred lips from chemo therapy and irregular shaped lips. My lips are a mess but I take very good care of them....now. I do love the Lisa Eldridge Velvets and Insanely Saturated and those formulas work great for me. They are not drying. They cover my scar tissue. They are beautiful. The Westman is too thin of a formula and it is drying on my lips. Perhaps it's the Vitamin C. My skin does not like Vitamin at all. Who knows. But I had very high hopes for these lipsticks because everything from Westman is great. These unfortunately did not work for me.
