The 9th is SCREAMING on the last chord! I like competitive brass bands and top drum and bugle corps - extremely resonant sounds - but these here are some of the loudest and clearest overtones I have ever heard.

First the tide rushes in Plants a kiss on the shore Then rolls out to sea And the sea is very still once more So I rush to your side Like the oncoming tide With one burning thought Will your arms open wide? At last, we're face to face And as we kiss through an embrace I can tell, I can feel You are love, you are real Really mine In the wind, in the rain, in the sun Like the tide at its ebb I'm at peace in the web Of your love

Poor choice of words on my part! I did not mean to imply that there are not other GREAT choruses in the org.

Unfortunately I can only "like" this performance one time. Outstanding. Beautiful. Moving. Inspirational. Artistic. Perhaps there are not enough words to describe... I pray this group continues to do such good work and share it with rest of the world.

Mature, dynamic, clean, soulful and so refined in tone that I damn near needed a tissue - whether for getting a little misty-eyed or for the drool on my chin, I can't say. Bravo! I will try and forget all about it by the time my boyfriend and I perform it for my 80 year old newly-wed mother and her groom on Christmas day as a little gift. No way we'll be half as glorious.

What spectacularly, extraordinarily, stunningly beautiful music. This is what 4-part harmony can do to one - just transport you into some deep heart of music and set free some human need to sing out and make gorgeous tones ( and overtones). What a joyful noise you make! Thank you so much. I had forgotten how much I love this song, but I also think I've never really "heard" it before this. Perfection.

Bravo!!! What a fabulous vocal ensemble! This grand old romantic ballad is beautifully sung, sensitively phrased, and dynamically conducted by their unnamed music director. A big thank you to the Westminster Chorus for sharing their work with us.

The melody and words resonate through our ears. Our vocabularies are not sufficient to describe the outstanding efforts and sounds produced by this chorus and their music. A simple "thank you" for allowing us to hear your presentation and the musical perfection.

It just sounds like this is what it was meant to sound like. Other performances go way over the top trying to be something they're not. With this choir, there's such unison and such perfection that it ought to be the gold standard those seeking to sing this song aspire to achieve.

This is beautiful! One of my favorite ballads. It sounds perfect because everyone can sing and has an ear for perfect pitch. Sometimes you get one or maybe two tone deaf people who always has the desire to sing but not the talent or gift join a choir and throw the oneness of the pitch out the window.

Sounds good. Having a second director come in from the side seems odd as does putting the camera behind the director's back. Having all the singers mimic the director's moves is quite distracting.
