I'm so jealous of the baritone. I know he's like the greatest baritone/lead ever, but his range is unbelievable. I could never in a million years sound that good on the tag at the end. Unbelievable.

No, you're a bit wrong: actually Tony de Rosa appears in this quartet as he is singing the baritone part. "Max Q" members not in this video are Greg Clancy (ten) and Gary Lewis (barit). Maybe you are confused as Tony de Rosa sings the lead part in "Max Q", however he is considered the best baritone from his performing at "Platinum" and "Keepsake" quartets.
@seyboo5214 жыл бұрын
@springer331 Maybe you should check out Tim Waruk's (sp) 9 octave clip before you go spouting off on range. Not slamming DeRosa at all, he's a monster!

Sorry who is the tenor? I sang with Joe years ago Interstate rivals time (ok in a basement ). In any case acoustic doesn't need JOE C to make this song sound good.
@MSA034 жыл бұрын
I know you commented this 7 years ago, but if you haven't found out yet the tenor is Tim Waurick, tenor of the 2006 international champions Vocal Spectrum. He's also known for his learning track buisness TimTracks.

Love me some Tony D!
@sgtsonny15 жыл бұрын
The bass and baritone are Max Q members, but Joe Connelly (Lead) never sang with Max Q. He sang lead in Interstate Rivals, Keepsake and PLATINUM and Tim Waurick (Tenor) sings with Vocal Spectrum. So you're missing Greg Clancy and Tony DeRosa to form Max Q. In this formation however, you get the best of today's barbershop!
@Jakeroo7672 жыл бұрын
Tony DeRosa is in MaxQ he sings lead in it. Here he is singing baritone

@@sgtsonnyI think Jake is pointing out the discrepancy at the end of your comment when you said that “you’re only missing Greg Clancy and Tony DeRosa to form MaxQ” when it should be Gary Lewis instead of Tony. i just want to start by saying that these guys are awesome! as individuals, they are the best at what they do, and in their quartets in the past, they have shined, but in this one, i don't know what it is, but it just doesn't sound right. it may just be that their blend is off. i know that that is why this is a fantasy quartet, but does anyone understand what i mean?

Where abouts on the page? I can't seem to find it! G
@go1089914 жыл бұрын
@sephiroth I'm sure if they were actually given time to work together over a larger period of time they would blend better and it WOULD work. But IMO there could have been a better fantasy quartet.
