Fawk I agree there seems to be a clear break between William and MIB. I think he will not last long in the next season and that we will no longer see the progression of one becoming the other. Feel like his daughter is going to make a pop up in season 2 as she is so bitter to what he did in WW and how it effected her mother and uncle. She could make a great antagonist or ally.

I still don't think that MiB is a bad guy. Unless we see him do something morally reprehensible to a sentient host, I'm holding off calling him a bad guy until then. I started becoming a fan because of the production and acting in WW, but it became riddled with existential questions....which I like. Remember when Ford said some thing about the early hosts being given away by a simple handshake? That last scene Ford had with Bernard in the the church? There was something "off" with Fords handshake. The camera strangely focused on it and Bernard seemed to notice something was different as well, as you can see the confusion on his face.All this implies that the Ford who was shot at the end was possibly a host.

I think the biggest season 2 tease was the post credit scene with Armistice. they said it'd be an action packed season... and pretty much ripping your own arm off to keep shooting humans is the very definition of chaos!!! because... if you think about it, in the park...they act like humans, meaning: if in westworld some host would rip it's arm off it would bleed to death instead of become full terminator like Armistice. so watching that happen was the realization that season 2 has already begun!!! :D

I'm really let down that the MiB/William's arc lead towards and ended at wanting the hosts to be able to fight back and in essence wanting people who come to the park to be able to get killed by the hosts. That really doesn't make any sense at all, and doesn't sound anything like what it was he claimed to be searching for in the first few episodes. To me, right up until maybe the last couple episodes, it seemed like he was trying to find a deeper, hidden meaning to the park or a secret purpose that the hosts have beyond just being cannon fodder. It almost sounded like a philosophical pursuit. But no, he just wanted to be able to get shot at so he can get more of a thrill. That was the biggest letdown of the show for me by far.

I think what he ultimately wants is the hosts to be 'true' and 'real' which is rooted in his heartbreak over Dolores 30 yrs earlier, when he realised unless she's real/truly sentient their past connection will never mean anything except to him. He's now really screwed up and a monster, but that's the seed of his motivations. He wanted Dolores (and the others) to become real.

That's somewhat speculation, although they've given many "nods" to the movie, such as the "Gunslinger" in the background, and the "old school" tech used in the scenes that take place on the earlier timeline. How much more they'll integrate the two remains to be seen; for now the official stance is that the show is "inspired by" the movie... but they do seem to include references to it every chance they can. How much is homage and how much is "canon" to the TV show is still unknown.

Same here, I have been hoping of her return since she disappeared, on another video they showed some clue from the website. and you can hear Elsie's voice. so I think she will return, maybe she was the one that called Stubbs out to "save him". she was the smartest one on the show besides Ford.

Could you please do a video explaining the entire first season? You only really had videos about the last 4 episodes of the season, I would love to hear your analysis of the season as a whole, also pointing out all of the easter eggs for all of the big reveals that happened in the last couple of episodes. Now that the timelines theory and Arnold=Bernard theory have been confirmed, It'd be amazing to hear an explanation of all of the twists and turns that happened all throughout the season in every episode. i bet you'd also be able to find and explain a lot that not everyone noticed/understood while watching the season the first time

ImADeceptiKhan I'm not sure about parks but I think in the original movie their was multiple parks and they all went bat shit. the stuff with the man in black as his younger self William were memories from him and delrous put together for the shows deception so we wouldn't guess to quick what was going on and that something like 30 40 years had past for William as he kept coming back to the park but she kept getting rebooted so her memory was shot to shit that's why she thought it was a dream.

Have another look at 9:11 - Charlotte's look can mean two things: a) she anticipates something terrible is going to happen b) she - for yet unknown reasons - feels compassion with Ford _ You know that througout the first season she was introduced as anything else but sentimental! So what does that mean - and also: Why does Ford tap her arm? Is he "activating" her? Is Charlotte herself a host, installed as some kind of double agent?

They don't really need to fill the chairman seats of Delos. There's no requirement as to how many seats are needed for a chair position in a company. Chair-people typically are advisors and shareholders but aren't necessarily involved in the direct running of a company. And William is the majority shareholder which makes him the only mandatory chairperson.

I just Remembered Ford Does have a doppelganger.. Little Ford with the Greyhound! I remember Ford Talking with him a few times during the show and thought. "Is he training this Host?" Every interaction with him was kinda like a lesson, even for both Fords. Maybe it isn't the last time we will see ford after all?
