His stage presence is absolute, he's very fluid, he does a respectable portion of his own stunts, he's obviously good looking with short, medium, or long hair.. he does intense eye movements, subtle eye movements, he knows how to work his jaw muscles for emphasis.. etc.. don't like his voice or something? Just trying to think what "acting skill" he lacks?

What Star Wars needs most at this point in time is charismatic characters played by charismatic actors. Especially an actor like Cavill who in real life is a giant nerd and cares greatly about the story. As long as the writing for his character is good, I think this is definitely a much needed win for the fan base. We welcome Cavill with open arms

Then there's Excalibur, which included many of the best X-Men like Nightcrawler, Rogue, Gambit, Kate Pryde, and Rachel Summers. Betsy Braddock is a considerably better Captain Britain than Brian Braddock anyways, but in order to do her character justice they first have to introduce Psylocke and skip a lot of her backstory.

Character’s potentially I’d love to see from Cavill…. Marvel- Either ‘The Beyonder’ or Captain Britain. Star Wars- OBi Wan Kenobi’s Son/Grandson / Or a Jedi born of the ‘Kenobi Clan/Cast’ (delete as appropriate lol) I’m sure there’s some SW lore or SW purists that’ll say you can’t do this, BUT this is the House of Mouse and it’s the ‘SW Cinematic Universe’ so they don’t necessarily have to follow the books as cannon and pretty much do what they likeI mean heck they could even resurrect and Undead evil spirit of Darth Vader using some evil Dark Side Jin? Same Character look, none of the memories none of Anakins weaknesses only PURE evil. PLUS it’s an easy way to tie in loosely with the original SW Universe.

With the amount of effort Henry Cavill puts into stuntwork and fight choreography, I'm really excited to see what he could do with a lightsaber. Also the reason he left the Witcher wasn't because he had bigger projects coming in - he practically begged for the role of Geralt, he left because he didn't like the arrogance of the writers and how far they were taking the show from the source material that made him want the role in the first place.

I honestly don’t even know who I’d want him to play considering the point in time they’re going with but as long as he is a dynamic character with a lot of development, compelling story arc and makes an impact to the story being told, I’m happy. Also something that utilises his physicality would be handy. Something similar to how Mando was introduced and is now a popular character because of the journey he’s been on.

Honestly, im most excited to see what Cavill can do with WH40k. If he can get a big budget, mixed with how much of a nerd he is? You know it's going to be as accurate as Warhammer can be! But not being Superman probably opened up Cavill to do a LOT more stuff that he wanted to do. WB would probably want to keep him close to their chest, so it's give or take. Should Henry Cavill take one major role that would make him all the money in the world and also make him one of the most recognizable people on the planet? Or should he work on a multitude of projects that are amazing that can earn him possibly more money? Depending on what he holds close and on his fandom, either path is a win.

What they should do for the Rey movie is through all the promotions trailers make it look like she’s trying to rebuild the Jedi order, but when the movie comes out switch all the light sabers to red and have her building a new Sith order with her and Henry Cavill as a Sith queen and king. Personally I think it would be great if Henry Cavill played an anti-hero character that has a sense of morals but differing layers of complexity. A former Jedi who has fallen off the path, has been jaded and burnt, but finds ways to help the innocent or those in need where he can. Surviving, until a threat so great forces him to begrudgingly fight alongside people he despises.

It wasn't DC, it was WB that did him dirty. Dwayne Johnson was campaigning to get him back but Gunn/Safran arrived and did the reboot. Cavill should have gotten that Man of Steel 2 and Zack Snyder wrote his Superman poorly. Cavill wanted a comic accurate and lighter Superman and never got that chance to be that. Had we still had Henry Cavill, I think we would have gotten the accurate Superman. I'm happy Henry is gonna be in the MCU and Warhammer and other projects though and can't wait to see him have the freedom to go full nerd in Warhammer!

I'd love to see Henry Cavill as a very strong high level Jedi (a good one, not crooked) with tons of psychic powers of all sorts who has tons of dialogues and fight scenes. I love his fight scenes. Him with a light saber, that would be awesome! I hope they don't give him a green light saber, though. I hope the plot is a really good one, and I hope they never turn him into a bad guy, like they did in MI:Fallout, because I'll end up not liking his character. It's always a real let down when they end up making his character be a bad guy, imo. This Star Wars announcement is such a welcomed one! He's going to be great in it!
