That's a right nice comfy looking camp. You got rubber boots and everything you need to turn wet weather into a good experience. I had a little splash of Monkey Shoulder as I watched. Lol. You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning. We have been traveling to Elk county PA lately to listen to Elk bugling. It gets pretty crowded there during the Elk rut.
@CampingwithSamBananas2 жыл бұрын
Dan thanks for watching man! It's nice knowing you're along for the ride. The Elk stuff sounds great, I've been eyeing a spot up in MI, but I've also thought about heading over to PA. Both are about the same distance for me I think

A good time! I laughed at the picnic table scene, but that picnic table looks extremely nice for a campground. 90% of the picnic tables I ever see are in rough shape, starting to rot, etc. I'm not sure you can ever go overboard with bbq sauce on some chops. Glad the other camper didn't get upset over the mishap or make you move.

Ok lets start with the tent set up, the cross bars are supposed to go on the outside of the support bars, and with the fire, charcoal logs will catch fire very quick even if they do get wet, and it's a good idea to make a check list before you go camping so you don't forget anything.

Hey Hey Sam! Thanks for another great video sir. Informative (knots lesson), entertaining (the great music in your videos), diplomatic (the well handled encounter with the other camper), and of course rainy (What is a Sam Bananas video without at least the threat of rain?) BTW, Hello to Mrs. Bananas! That is a sweet axe sir. You know, you ought to have a "wish" list of gear you would like to acquire so that people like Larry and others in the Bananas Republic who have the means to provide you with some good/interesting gear as I certainly enjoy gifting gear I am not using or no longer able to use would very much enjoy the idea of seeing it go to someone like yourself who clearly appreciates it and puts it to work. Food for thought. Keep up the great work sir, looking forward to the next one. I am sure Larry was beaming with pride knowing you gave him a shout out and saw his gift being used in a video.

I stopped useing the grate in that fashion . I now put a grate on that grate for a few diffrent reasons. One being that an iron grate leaves iron deposits on the food. It can alter the tast as well. Plus a pal got real sick one time so that stainless grate you use on a open fire i recommend useing it or use an old barbecue grate. It will cook a little better as well. I like them grated fire pits more so the swing style. Looks like a nice site as well.
