Absolutely love your design style and approach to your work. I also feel that the video editing matches the pace of your work very well. I'd be interested in any more videos you make about other projects. I also wanted to say your care of the craft is refreshing, I don't think I've ever seen someone comment on every post like you have for this video.

So so beautiful! I am wanting to make a little wool pouch but with a wool rope and seamless. I can’t find a video of something similar- any tips on how to attach the wool rope to a little wool pouch would be so appreciated. Thank you!
@amusebyanjamusek2 жыл бұрын
Sure. If you want to felt the rope seamlessly into the bag, you have to first felt the rope leaving the ends dry and than connect (felt) the ends it to the core of the bag while felting... hard to explain in words. All the best to you!

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful bag. I have made a backpack with wool batt combined with cotton muslin for extra strength that saved me from quite so many wool batt layers before the wool roving. I am a little stuck on how to attach the straps though. I see you used a belt for❤❤ are the holes on one side or both sides?

Hello, I am very fond of work in fur. But I don't know how to make them stick together. So I want to make sure that the soap you use is normal soap. Or soap that is used only for fur. Thank you.
@amusebyanjamusek2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I don't use fur, but only sheep wool. For wet-felting you can use just about any soap or detergent, but I use Marseille soap,

Could you pls tell what you used as a resist? How many layers of wool did you make on each side? Did you use batt and roving both? I would like to make this bag for myself, I love it.
@amusebyanjamusek2 жыл бұрын
For resist I used bubble wrap. 8 layers of wool on each side + 4 for the inside pocket. Batt for basis and roving for decoration. Have fun felting!

Nice tutorial. What do you call those huge roving wool? I only see little rolls? Where can you buy them? Thanks
@amusebyanjamusek3 жыл бұрын
For this project I used coarse (about 30 mic) Gotland-Island fleece, but you can also use Bergshaf etc. wool in fleece. You can get it in specialized stores for felting - in Europe the bigger ones are: Woll Knoll, DHG, Word of wool...
