So glad to hear you are enjoying the vides especially about the slippers! They are definitely my favourite felted item so far. Once you wear felted slippers you never go back! 😍Were you able to achieve a wearable pair after watching the video? It can take much time and practise for perfection.

Thankyou for all you do! Wishing you all the best and I honor your self care and here is to your healing! Your videos are so helpful and inspiring. I love your humor and inserts! I have brain fog too and it does take the need for self care when much else is just not possible. Love and appreciation for all your great tutorials! 🧶💐

Awe thank you so much. I am still dealing with it but also realised I am not a multitasker. When I made these videos, I made 30, all in a row. I can only do it when I only focus on that. So I will make a decision to do another 30 videos in a row in the future. Lots of ideas planned. Thank you for your encouraging comments.

So much I want to do for the future. All very excited about it still. But yeah they will come out as they do...

I’m new to felting and loving learning how much you can do with these wonderful fibres! Your videos are totally fab and I really love the way you love to experiment and create these wonderful exciting details textures and sculptures. I’m learning a huge amount from you and relive your style ❤

Its very exciting all the things you can do! I didn't know how much I would feel so inspired by others who want to learn. I begin to imagine all the things you will all create. Thank you for your encouraging comment. I am feeling encouraged to continue making more videos, especially the experimental ones, so that others know the potential of what can be done with the techniques, or from what I don't get right! So valuable.

❤️ I love this. I have bought a few alpaca fleeces (the whole thing that comes off when they are sheered) I need to clean them a bit still and then card them. After that I want to use them to make felt. This is such a fantastic technique. Please don’t be so extremely modest. You are really good at what you do and it is something to be proud of. It won’t make you arrogant to know this about yourself. I’ll be watching all your videos to give me more ideas of what is possible so I want to thank you for your excellent tutorials. 😘

That is so kind thank you. I don't realise I am doing this, being so modest. I am going to look into this, see if its some habit I can break or confidence/worth issue right! So glad you like the tutorials, thank you for sharing. Hopefully I will hear from your again about your fleeces in time and how they felt up!

Awesome, I wondered how to do this! How hot was your water? I have trouble getting my merino to felt.
@muffsmerino2 жыл бұрын
Oh, that would not be a fun start to your felting project. I do not use any hot water in my projects except at the very end for felted slippers or larger projects that require durability. Is it just the Merino? One reason could be not enough water. Sometimes it can be too much soap or not enough soap. If that is not it, it could be too much rolling pressure too soon. Merino wool requires a very gentle roll and progression into felting. Also, if it is a water issue, hot water will shock the fibre ends and they will not felt.
@mykawilcox43822 жыл бұрын
@@muffsmerino I had quite a bit of water… almost thought to much. The merino was a 70/30 blend with bamboo. My water was never hot because the garage was cool and it wouldn’t hold heat anyway lol.
@muffsmerino2 жыл бұрын
@@mykawilcox4382 Ya same, this is why I don't bother with the hot water through the process until the end. I have not felted with bamboo but it should felt fine if it is mostly wool. There are many reasons why it may not have felted so its hard to know what to suggest!

@@muffsmerino I can get the merino to felt alone, but I was trying to add teeswater locks and the locks wouldn’t felt to the merino. It was strange
@muffsmerino2 жыл бұрын
@@mykawilcox4382 oh that is strange. Sometimes if the locks are very thick only parts might not stick. Hard to say.
