I've made these with only the elastic, no button. I put the elastic where you put the button, twist the towel, and tuck it into the elastic loop :)

These make great Christmas gifts! I used Walmart towels as they are not too thick! Made lots of them as they sew up very quickly!

Love these head wraps made from towels. I have curly hair and always see them made out of microfiber towels, which just knots my hair.
