Idk what's in this foundation, but it beats A LOT of my high end ones. It covers my skin well without accentuating fine lines/pores on my normal to dry combo, mature, skin. I think that if this were bottled and sold in high end packaging it would sell almost as well. Who knows, maybe it is???? lol

Hi Hun. Kathy Aye sent me this foundation earlier in the year. I think you are spot on, regarding the finish Nisha. I do use a blender, but need 2 coats. Very good review. You are so right about foundations, I have tried some that others thought were great, but they did not work for me at all. Our youngest daughter tried the Wet and Wild, but it did not work on her very dry skin. So it is most likely more suited for normal or combination skin.

Nisha, you taught me (a 54 year old woman!) how to apply eyeshadow, so THANK YOU! I have learned so much from your videos! Can you help me get my foundation to look smooth and even and "dewy" (but not shiny)? I've tried probably 150 different brands and formulas, primers (which, like you, I"m not a fan of), moisturizers and sunscreens, but no matter which I use or how I apply it, by the end of the day, my face seems to look patchy, lifeless, dry and bumpy. Boy I was really hard on this foundation...I think everybody else liked it at least a little. I doubt anybody else threw it behind them and took a chance it would bust...what the heck? It was in my empties LOL but it was actually the smell, it gave me a migraine and I just couldn't get around that enough to even know how it actually performed. Hi Nisha, I tried this foundation and for the price, I loved it. I always use a primer so maybe that is why it applied more smoothly on my skin. Also, I sometimes apply with my fingers rather than a brush or beauty blender and maybe that helps it to go on more smoothly as well. Because I didn't have any trouble with blotchiness. Thought it was great for the price, although alternate with Two Faced Born this Way & IT CC Cream. Like a little variety! :) Glad to hear you liked it for the price.

Hi Nisha, I am torn between this one and the very limited shade Physician's Formula Cushion Fdtn which I noticed you commented on in rxstmom's video on that. Many of the more mature women are raving about that one tho it too seems to be a less than full coverage. Which one do you think is better esply for not going into fine lines? I have been using a primer religiously and even over, yes, over my fdtn sometimes and it makes a huge difference in how smooth my skin looks. My skin is quite good but someone told me I look younger lately & it was def'ly due to the primer. Do you have an opinion on which fdtn of those 2 is better for a flawless look on older skin and also are you wearing yr Kiko mascara in this one, whatever it is it looks fantastic! I just love this foundation. I do find it to spread well (feels like it may have some silicone in it), and it holds all day on my normal to dry mature skin. It looks so pretty on you! I have that color, too. What color Shiseido do you use? I would like to try it. It seems we have similar coloring. I have dry skin and I find that the Wet and Wild works better with certain primers. If I use a silicone type primer it tends to show more texture by the end of the day.

I actually like this foundation, but it does have the tendency to look cakey. I have dry skin, so I have to make sure my skin is prepped beforehand or it can really cling to the dry patches. I use the shade Nude Ivory. One great thing about this foundation is it does not oxidize on me which I seem to have trouble with for some reason.

I had a horrible experience with this particular foundation oxidizing and it dried out my skin. The smell is almost too much for me. It smells like paint. I tried to use 3 different times, with primer, without primer. For me it was a fail. :( On a positive.. You always look pretty and I love your nail polish!

I just had to get up and go to smell it lol, I don't even notice scents that much, I am not sensitive to anything. So it does have a slight scent, but not as strong as your usual suntan lotion, I just have it on my arm now and I have to stick my nose right in it to smell it lol, but you might be different. you could always go to Boots and try it, I suppose, I really like it and have been using it for two years now, they also make a tinted version (BB) of it xoxoNisha

No, not really, I pat the powder very lightly with a soft brush, but I also bake with powder sometimes (I hope you have seen that video)and it does not make that much difference in the appearance of fine lines xoxoNisha

If you use a setting spray over your powder just to get rid of the powdery dry look it looks more like skin then this is a really old video you probably do use a setting spray now days lol I use setting spray instead of powder under my eyes too not as drying and crinkley as powder lol I think it looked better on your skin later on when your natural oils had come through more glowy and natural looking on you was too matte in the beginning but I think that's just personal preference
