The SUPREME COURT OF CANADA has literally recognized that they never ceded their land. Our own highest authority, which has no authority over the Wet'suwet'en but has every authority over Canadians and our government, are like "Yeah, no that's their land." So what Canadian laws are actually applicable to anyone if our own government thinks they suddenly don't apply?

(Still, in 2022) Law schools teach intolerance discrimination and indoctrination. Some of our legal (and medical) insurers, like lawpro, have made discrimination an incentive. Until we re-examine the culture of colonialism in law, I fear we’ll see the same sort of gaslighting, and discrimination from our legal sectors for decades to come.

Settler colonizer cops are not interested in the law, they are interested in accommodating resource extraction by capitalists.

@@Gerafix agreed, but clearly the law, and those who insure those in the law, can be at the root of those giving the orders?

Corporate Canada has always had intentions of this. My ancestors the Songhess fought for their Unceded lands. I was told this year that my GGGrabdmother Tutsumutsa Edenshaw aka Mary Warren Williams, was the only Women First Nation's Treaty Holder in Esquimalt. She was also the oldest native to die on Vancouver Island in 1931 at 104. My Aunt Sarah Warren was a Matriarch of the Songhees, she was the First Person of the North People to win back the right's for the Traditional Mask Dance in 1950.

Do any of the hereditary chiefs and their constituants support this pipeline? Other than destruction of sacred sites, ancient forests; the land itself...etc; i assume damages to> the general economies; tourism? fishing agriculture residential communities etc; are also in question.▫️ Are there any benefits for the indigenous communities? ▫️ If there are "perks" as far as employment opportunities; can the pipelines be re-routed? Were there tribal contracts agreed upon with the corps- organizations building the pipelines; allowing them to proceed; or is this just canadian crown and provincial govts. ignoring territorial agreements dating back hundreds of years?▫️pax.🕊

no it is not like that. it is more like a spiritual war and they are demon possessed and trying to crush your soul and make you an unintelligent slave who works a job you hate, for peopel who hate you, and spend all your money on taxes. There are no benefits or perks. Only pitons nd temporary rubs. However the negatives and dangers are extreme. Like suffering and death, collapse of the world ecosystem... Invasive earth worms, loss of nature, replaced by man made forest. Won't work... Like in China they try to stop the Gobi desert from expanding, but they learn it can not be "man made"... They have to let nature take over. It is a lesson that we need to keep old growth forests. Cutting them down, saying its all good we plant more trees, practice "sustainable forestry" will fail miserably and it will be too late. We have to stop them now.

i support the blocking of Oil,... what i do not understand is the idea that "a nation" exists alone, .. imagine if Canada no longer existed and living the life of fathers past returned, .. how would it be possible to survive in todays World not surrounded by the canopy of Canada? How has the World reacted with societies isolated?
@voidremoved

you are confused... However, if the First Nations were smart, they would sever all ties with Canada and become allies of China. They would be better off as an autonomous region of China like the Uyghurs. If they did this. China would protect them, even coming to Canada with tanks and helicopters and aim nukes at Canada until the crooked Canadians stand down and get out of Ukraine I mean off of First Nations land. However, the First Nations re too stupid to go all in with China. So it is hard to support them. They keep trying to work things out with Canada. They need a divorce and to hire body guards...

So let's talk about the privledges you are given. Did you know that native children get their lunch paid for at school, or that there is a special menu for native kids only if they don't like the menu of the day? Or how about that native kids are given an allowance just to attend school. Don't play this card with me...I live next to a reserve and it is some of the worst littering I have EVER seen. Grow up

Im a teacher and this isn't true. Bands can choose to fund meals for their children or support their children attending school. Your community buying you a meal or giving you an allowance isn't a special privilege and settler students can also get meals.
