This was broadcast live on BBC2 to 40 different countries with an estimated audience of one billion people. Watched this live on telly at the time when I was 10. I remember being gutted that Michael Jackson wasn't on the bill. Nonetheless Wet Wet Wet put on one of the best performances and were a credit to Scotland.

What a song this was - this was the 80s full stop!! Probably too (though Wet Wet Wet had other songs that was immensely good) this probably was their most under-rated but best ever. I love the fast paced nature of it!! It'd be amazing to see this performed like Goodnight Girl was on TV in 2013 - then I'd be certain they still had it after all these years ugh I am already anyway!!

yes, this performance has me since I saw it live in TV, what a talent for good melody/harmonies not to forget the singing. Outstanding playing of all musicians, very nice horn section, ... How fast there was a very good sound after the problems with the noises before. I think, this is the best live performance of this song, Marty could give everything of his voicabilities here, more than in the concerts of them.
