Hi Scotty what an amazing country we live in I've been on this earth for 72 years and travelled over vast tracts of NSW ,SA ,Queensland all of Victoria a bit over the west and a fair bit of Tassie and I reckon I could spend another 72 years and still not see half of what this great land has to offer .I've met many people who travel overseas and I say to them why don't you explore your own Country and they say why there's not much to see, I find that a very sad answer I think they need to watch your channel to understand the beauty of this great land keep them coming mate.

He only walked approx. 4 km into the bush from a known bush vehicle track, stayed one night. Going deeper into that country with land navigation skills, a map, compass and full kit for survival means you are dead. That is very difficult and dangerous country. He was basically out on a day walk with overnight stay and made it look so simple thru his (superb) photographic skills.

I too love the bush in the rain. I get a real sense of intimacy, connection, and peace, the sounds of raindrops envelop and surround me, the softness of the light and wetness of everything brings a special clarity to the variety and intensities of colours, the smell. Awesome as usual. I commented on Patreon but I watched it on KZbin because it allows me to watch it full screen on my iPad. You picked yet another stunning place. Those caves, canyons, ferns etc... W O W ! One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't take an interest in Bushcraft and hiking when I was younger and way more fit. Now at nearly 59, I'm limited to how far I can walk, how much I can carry etc, and to think of all the years I lived in Sydney with all that on my doorstep and didn't take advantage of it. Kicking myself now. 😕 Loved the drone footage, it really shows off the area you were in. I got myself a drone recently but haven't really used it yet, other than a couple of backyard test flights. I've learned a lot from your videos and find them not just educational, but very enjoyable. Hence my reason for becoming a Patreon. Keep up the good work Scotty, by for now, Stuart.
