I got this bike. Replaced the rear shocks with Rockshox Monarch R. Moved the throttle to the right side, replaced the seat with a Wittkop seat and I'm happy as hell and having the time of my life riding it. Was reading some of the comments and shook my head just knowing there are always going to be people talking a shi* load of crap over the smallest and stupidest of things. Or how their bike being better or what have you. Who gives a rats a**. If you want to talk about how better other bikes are, then post a youtube vid and I promise you, someone else will piss you off because they will tell you how your piece of Sh** bike is compared to theirs. So talk all you want about this bike, I own one, paid 1700 for it, am having so much fun riding it everywhere. Get compliments left and right. So no matter how salty you may feel... It's super sweet to me 🚲🚲🚲🚲

Forgot to mention. I added Tannus inserts on front and rear tires. Tannus doesn't carry the inserts for this tire size so I got the 26x4 size and had the bike shop trim to fit. No more flat tire worries for me. 😁😁😁😁

Your wheel size tip has helped me get results. Your tip was the missing element of the puzzle when the controller is stuck on slow. I set the wheel size to max then exited. I throttled up 100% causing a main screen reading into the 50 mph range. Upon setting back to correct wheel size the speed remained in the 50 mph range. Please pardon this imperfect description. You've just earned the Zeek award of Excellence.

Keep in mind may change the accuracy of speed rating. It may show your going faster but your actually not.

I purchased the S18 camouflage and love the bike. I have around 300 miles on it and need new brakes. I want to upgrade them. I still need to figure out how to properly adjust the shocks but I love the bike! Mine tops out at 32ish mph on a full charge

I have this bike.The swing arm is loose, i will have to add shims to tighten it up,Will change the rear shock eventually, bought a right hand twist throttle. still building on it. i like it.

I LOVE IT ! Wow that was fast. Got it today .I was blown away with the quality of this bike ! It is beautiful. Wasnt sure I would like the finish..I couldnt have been more wrong. What size or model did you get ? I want to order a shock instead of taking off and measuring. My S17 came damaged triple clamp the manufacturer zip ties bars to forks and put a gouge out of the triple clamp. The rear shock and brakes suck bad , so the first thing I'm doing upgrades on.

I have them make a custom frame for a Bafang Ultra motor instead of hub and a good frame. They actually did it exact as I requested, which I was surprised as most vendors are hard to work with?

Mine came with a huge scratch on triple clamp, thumb throttle. I switched to the rt side until the half twist arrives. The brakes I swoped sides I don't understand why they don't adopt motorcycle standards. The front brake should always be on the right side they suck for stopping power. I'm getting new pads to start with . Rear shock also piss pore once I figure out a good replacement. Over all its a good deal. All the videos that are out on this bike, I would agree with. It has more than enough power and a good quality china bike.

Your top speed is prob way off if you have diff wheel size. Try to put the right size in and get a top speed. Or use a gps to see it. Would really like to know actual top speed. Thanks

I've owned both. The S17 is a better bike. The only thing about the S17 is it's a bit heavier, taller but the parts are higher quality. The S18 is a budget style bike, it works fine but it's good as well. I'd say the S17 is more motocross than bicycle. Where as the S18 is more bicycle than motorcycle. Hard to describe, but those are my feelings.

You want these types of breaks I had hydraulic and it caught and broke. Try fixing that on trail result you can’t. And the seat can be replaced with shock seat and you can set

you dont go faster,. gps reads around 31mpg . brass tax is voltage for kv of the motor not wheel size, unless you have added a bigger circumference of the wheel you can rip down a hill though..is a great bike overall . dont use 9 modes , use 5, the switch from modes is better . i found the same problem using 9 that you did. thanks for reviewing it..i havent seen many . btw, mine came with full hydrolic brakes. but the rear brake is kinda weak, like it has air in the system. i have helped it some by bleeeding the hydrolic system..but out of the box ...col. not good and the rear shock is too stiff , but with all the unsprung rear wheel hub..idk...not a mountainbike..more like a city cruiser? those front forks rock!

useful reply. I am looking at s17 or s18. The 5 mode may be for aligning PWM to intervals the motor canunderstand. Number 9 is all out on/off. Not just this bike , it is an electronic thing. As of now, I am going s18. Even my sidewalk is a jungle. .. need bigger everything,

40 to 50 miles. depends on how much you pedal but you can get more out of it. I used the bike around the entirety of Nantucket which was about 60 miles and I had 33% left. some spots I paddled only some spots I used the motor.

Also, the Kepler is only 1000w vs. this Aostirmotor at 1500, so I wonder why it's not as fast as the Kepler.

OK Mine JUST arrived, 2024, it has Fat tires not small like on yours also No double adjustable forks the only adjustment is on top.. Its charging now this thing is HUGE! lol Oh and i took battery out it was in super tight AND now it wont go in and lock nor turn on so not happy with it so far looks like they didnt pay much attention to my bike PLUS it was DUSTY Behind the battery! WTF! ok after removing several screws in battery box and carving some plastic i finally got the battery in locked and working. My control is NOT like yours I contacted AO they sent me PDF on mine (no instructions were included)

Definitely NOT the BEST BIKE EVER! By ANY MEASURE! Motor is extremely UNDERPOWERED, the bike is EXTREMELY heavy, if your battery dies DONT EVEN THINK you will be able to peddle it home! LOL Between the resistance from the direct drive Hub and EXTREME WEIGHT, it is like trying to peddle a TANK! This bike is good for a LIGHT person (under 200lbs) that rides on FLAT terrain, HILLS KILL this thing FAST! Oh and by the way the company discontinued it!

sounds like you got a dud or weigh far above the recommended weight limit. I pedaled it multiple times home just because I wanted to and it was pretty damn easy. for the price there's nothing better sounds like you need a motorcycle. 1500w is actually above legal limits. 750w is the maximum in most States.

At 230lbs i was well below the max weight. I ordered and received my 2025 Raptor by cyber bike 100x Better only weight 60lbs powerful mid drive just sooo much better.
