back in the 90s and 2000s Rock/Metal and HipHop were mortal enemies in the Ph like Bloods and Crips but that all change when FrancisM started experimenting by merging Rap and pinoy rock . it also saw the birth Of Hardware Syndrome, the band which would, with francism at its helm, introduce the merging of Pinoy Rock and Rap to the Filipino music. its one of the many reasons why he is highly respected here in the PH. Imagine, he's the same age as KRS-One, and his influences were actually the forefathers of hip-hop themselves, like Grandmaster Flash, DJ Kool Herc, and Afrika Bambaataa. This is why he had such a broad view of how hip-hop should be (e.g. experimenting with rock bands, way of writing, flow style, etc.). Man, he's older than 2Pac, Biggie, Nas, and many other great hip-hop contemporaries, so you can imagine how important he was in establishing the hip-hop culture here in the Philippines.
