I did, it gave the killer a sense of his own character like Jason, Freddy Kruger, chucky. I like that the name ghostface is mentioned even tho the outfit isn't specifically named "Ghostface"

I enjoyed the first two seasons of Scream when it was on MTV. I'm disappointed to hear that season 3 is a reboot with different characters and it won't be wrapping up the unanswered questions at the end of season 2. That being said, I'll probably watch it because there really isn't anything else on (my METS are stinking up the MLB and watching them night after night is making me depressed). Great video guys!

We watched a movie you guys seriously need to check out season 1 and 2 the first episode is a little iffy from season 1 but after it episode 2 onward you might get hooked if you decide to continue so characters and beats are similar to the films with the show wraps the unique spin on the twists and the suspense and especially when you get season 2 no spoilers but you guys should definitely check the first two seasons out please please

Great review! I haven’t seen the new season of Scream yet. The acting looks terrible. I was kind of upset that they didn’t resolve the story from the first two seasons. Nothing touches the films. I would like to see what Blumhouse would do with Scream.

2 Reasons why I watched it. Original Ghostface actor and costume... I like RJ Cyler as an upcoming actor I want to see him in more stuff!!! I felt like its too self aware at times, all the movie references, Tyga's motive was basically Sidney's brother from Scream 3. Beth is like "Born a sociopath" Billy - "Movies don't create psychos, Movies make psychos more creative" Nicky - " I'm gonna blame it on the movies" etc. Love u guys!!!

I'm a fan of the scream franchise and was excited to see what this installment would be like........it was pure trash from the start! Dialogue was terrible, acting was a joke, it was so rushed and didnt make sense. The only decent thing I liked was the kills and that the original voice from the movies returned! I dont know if u guys noticed but in one of the scenes where ghostface is chasing Kim down a corridor in the school, the running is so fake I was like is this meant to be a joke

The cutaways in this video is hilarious! The Van Damme kickboxer one got me! 😂 I thought the ghostface kill scenes were intense also, but I couldn’t lock in on who the killer actually was - they did a pretty good job making you flip flop between the characters - that’s the power of having 2 killers. It’s not re-watchable in my opinion, but season 3 definitely stepped it up from the first two seasons.

I love the line in Scream 4 when he's on the phone with Sydney right before he kills Olivia: "I'm going to slit your eyelids open so you don't blink when I stab you in the face!" I'm a huge horror movie and true crime freak. And even Olivia's death kind of made me want to vomit. Still good and gruesome, but it was almost too much for me.

Scream is my favorite franchise so I hate seeing this happen to it, but oh well what the hell. I want another sequel with the original cast. I think Scream 4 is the best sequel to date and if they bring back Kevin Williamson with the remaining survivors, it'll be a Scream, baby! Who would direct is the question. Hmmm.

I was very disappointed with this season. It was clearly a rushed project. I agree the writing was bad and the storyline really needed work. The breakfast club references were really over the top. Spoilers: The reveal of the killers was so underwhelming. I'm so tired of the twist being the half-sibling thing. In my opinion the first two seasons were better and worth the time. The characters are likable and you actually care about them. Also everyone can act... well decently. As for Scream as a franchise? Let's get another movie and focus it on remakes whereas scream 4 was more of a remake focused thing. Have a whole new cast and then at the end throw in Gail Weathers.

The first trailer alone looked like a really cheesy 90s show, also when they named it resurrection just gave me flashbacks to Halloween and how bad that was. Edit: who ever wrote this seemed like it was their first time. Just 2 episodes in and the writing is terrible. “So come on and taste the rainbow” ? Like seriously who the hell wrote this garbage. Some of it is good but most just makes you want to slap yourself in the face.

I literally watched this season because I had nothing else to watch and even shitty slashers are at least entertaining but Dear God this was shit. I stand by the first 2 seasons. It takes a few episodesto warm up but the characters actually had personalities that made you upset or cheer when they died. The killers weren't dumbasses and the motivations were interesting. They should have finished up the brandon james storyline. Lost potential with s1&2.

I agree with most people, the best parts of Scream: Resurrection were Roger Jackson, the mask, & the kills. The writing was terrible, just cringeworthy, but with good writing, strong actors, and a genuine mystery, the Scream tv series could be golden! 1&2 were ok. 3 was meh. Waited 2-3 years for this. And didn't know he was coming out until another horror channel mentioned. The kills was good. The Deion twist was fine. Tyga was Tyga. Wish it was a better reason while the mask. And we got Candyman vs Ghostface. LOL. They should shop it to a better channel. FX, HBO. But you guys should watch Slasher!

I decided not to watch it even if I somehow would be able to get VH1. I held the Netflix series in very high esteem, but the way I reacted to the Midsommar movie made me realize that if I got really disappointed at Scream 3, I would probably put on a mask, stab someone and then jump in the river floating through my home town. Honestly, I had fun with this show. I watched both seasons of the MTV series, and while it had its moments, I never felt like I was its target audience. It was more for the CW/Freeform audience.This at least felt like it was trying to appeal to horror fans. Also, a 6 episode run is perfect. First two seasons had SOOOOOO much padding. There were so many subplots that didn't affect the outcome at all (computer hackers blackmailing the mayor for example.) This show was silly at times, but it moved at a brisk pace and I was never bored.

Even though I don't think it'll happen, I love the Scream franchise and am totally down for another movie. But, I'd make it a reboot with a whole new cast of characters. As much as I'm a fan of Sid, Dewey, and Gale, I think their stories are over. Just reboot it with a good story, likable characters, and don't go as overboard with the meta like this show did. Some better actors would be nice, also because this show....whew.

Having the original mask & voice actor was great & the kills were definitely the most creative Ghostface has ever done. It’s a shame that the writing & most of the acting was so mediocre. It was also nice to see Tony Todd in yet another horror franchise. I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons though so this was quite the letdown unfortunately. I just wish they finished the season 2 storyline instead.
