Great rant bro, as a Scream fan I gotta ask though: I have this idea for Scream 7 that I would love to see explored. If this new sequel is going to try and mirror ideas from Scream 3 then why not explore the concept of doppelgängers more. This would be a fun way to bring back Jaime Kennedy, imagine if he appeared as a police detective who looks just like the Meeks twins uncle and he develops a relationship with them. The whole idea is sort of like Scream 3 with the actors working alongside the real legacy characters, but I'm thinking of making the idea more so a source of inspiration from Hitchcocks Vertigo. You have this person who lost someone they loved, in this case the Mekks twins Mindy and Chad, and they discover this person looks just like their uncle. And is similar in ways to him. It would be a cool new idea If done right. With the same themes of Vertigo perhaps, these people lost their uncle and their lives were exploited much like his despite their fondness for horror films, they inherited the worst aspects of their uncles legacy. Also funny enough, Vertigo was mentioned in Scream 3. The dumb broad was mistaken with the shower scene being from that one. 😂🤣😂😂

I think Brooke deserves more credit. She probably had the worst stuff happen to her out of everyone and was still able to have her character arc & put up a fight. I was always rooting for her survival the most.

Killing off her dad (the mayor) was a waste though. She had already developed so much in season 2 and there wasn't much time in the episode for her to grieve or develop after her dad died.

So, the ending of Scream Season 2 doesn’t WORK. And so many fans just *ate it up* because it was 2017 and cheap knockoff homage passed for good writing. SPOILERS: 1. When Piper is about to stab Emma in season one, she LOOKS UP and SMILES. Audrey then shoots her. If Piper was about to see Audrey pointing a gun, WHY smile? Why not try to implicate her? 2. Kieran supposedly SAW all of this. Why wouldn’t he intervene?! He saw Emma killed Piper and we are expected that he just *bottled up* all his emotions?! No! He would have stepped in! 3. If Kieran was a “secret killer” in season 1, why would he *teach Emma how to use a gun* of all things?! You are making your VICTIM stronger! You are showing her HOW TO KILL YOUR GIRLFRIEND. Then, Kieran *GIVES* Emma his gun in Season 1s finale! He practically killed Piper for Emma! And we are supposed to believe this was a “master plan?!” 4. Kieran supposedly kills *everyone* in Season 2. Yet there are timings are are impossible and victims that benefit NOTHING to Kieran. Why the mayor? Why care about the new girl who loves Noah? Why Noah?! Noah was barely Emma’s friend in Season 1. 5. And lastly, Emma completely went BACKWARDS in season 2. She goes from a teen who can literally fire a gun to a girl who cries and bites her lips instead of fighting the Lakewood Slasher, acting like a jerk to her friends just because of trauma. Audrey had trauma too, and she’s more normal!

Piper was probaly smiling thinking she was about to kill them but yeah that parts weirdz, reason kieran didn't help was because emma had a fucking gun, the reason he taught her how to use a gun was a manipulation tactic to make emma trust him more thinking he wants her safe, he didn't give emma the gun he gave it to noah who gave it to Audrey but Audrey found where emma went, and your right about kieran basically teleporting in s2 but it's a slasher show wtf do you expect and the reason emma went backwards was probably trauma (I'm not standing up for emma but that's my explanation)

As always, I gotta say something about the Scream series that should cause every Scream fan's heads to explode. The creators plans was for the first 3 seasons of the series to be a TV series that's filmed inside Scream's world. I think that is the most meta idea that these writers/co-creators could've crafted so that explains a bunch of the series. (I actually loved the series.) If that got your attention, great. So, their plans were as follows. (Bloody Disgusting published a great article featuring the co-creators detailing everything) Ok so here goes. Their plans for their envisioned third season was killing the whole cast except Kieran, Noah & Emma The 3 were to battle at the farm house, but Noah was to be killed. Emma kills Kieran and as the camera focuses at Kieran in a pool of his own blood..... The director yells "cut!" The article says: Pull back to reveal that we’re on the set of Scream: The Television Series. The actors hug, and mentions of the wrap party are made. “The killer is killed,” Register says, “then we pull back [to reveal it’s a TV production]. Amadeus Serafini [the actor who plays Kieran] walks into his dressing room, and is killed again.” For real, this time. The fourth season would have carried on with this meta approach, spinning a tale where the actors from the show play themselves. From the pitch: “Willa Fitzgerald, Bex Taylor-Klaus and John Karna all track a real life version of the Lakewood 6 that was stolen and woven into the series by the desperate original writer.” A killer in an original Ghostface mask, obsessed with the Scream franchise, would begin attacking various folks involved in the entire “Scream entertainment universe”, whether they’re writers, directors, producers, actors, etc. Yes, this would have opened the door for actors from the original film franchise to make appearances on the show, guest starring as themselves, all as the cast of the Scream TV series would be attempting to determine who is behind this slate of real life murders as the body count continues to rise. “The idea was to blow the walls off the television show and make it go super-meta,” Gans laughs. “That whole idea of that ending was that then you would pull out and then all of the Scream universe, the real Scream universe - the actual actors from it, and the writers, and the producers, and the crew who had made the original Scream movies were available to the story. The killer would have been someone who was obsessed with Scream who was stalking the cast.” But was there ever the possibility of marrying the television and film universes, aside from the meta season they’d pitched? Gan explains that there was another in-canon crossover option that they’d considered. “There was one version where there was a link [between the murders depicted in the show and the events of the film series], where they literally go to find Gale [Weathers, Courteney Cox’s character from the Scream film franchise] to ask about the murders. You’d go to the character.” Some extra info is: Weistein lied to the creators. The plans were eventually changed. The writers were let got but re-hired to act as showrunners of s02. We could've had astonishing greatness if the studio didn't ruined their clever meta plans for the series though

The Atlanta setting while kinda cool and it was nice having ghostface and Roger L Jackson again, Tony Todd was also pretty good but the rest of season ranged from meh to downright bad. I LOVE Scream Queens! I can’t believe it’s been 8 years since Scream: The TV Series and Scream Queens came out. I still quote Chanel Oberlin…a lot which is ridiculous but the show was a parody and extra af so I tell myself it’s totally fine 😂. Every fall, when SBux releases their PSL I always tell myself I’m going to try to order a Trenta no foam, 5-shot, half caff, no foam Pumpkin Spice latte with no foam at 210 degrees. Still no success in 2023 from laughing and sounding like an idiot. 😂 I didn’t care for s3 of Scream but I know there were a lot of people that did! It was really cool that Keke Palmer was in it and Tyler Posey (amongst the many others). Sorry for blabbing on…I just never see any comments about Scream Queens and I got excited! Ps I love your pfp and DD is by far my fav superhero (I know some people are like, no! He’s a vigilante! And I will argue with them for hours and bring up The Punisher and many other characters from the comics and if they don’t have a lot of comic knowledge, I just hope they watched the Netflix shows). But DD is so underrated as a superhero and has never gotten the attention he deserves. You know it’s bad when you’re the only one in the audience on opening day screaming when you see Charlie Cox/Matt Murdock gracing the big screen and people clearly have no clue who he is.😮 I’m super scared that Disney Plus is going to take a show (even as a “soft reboot”) that was a masterpiece and turn it into utter garbage. The fight scene in s1 (ep3?) that was filmed in one take was one of the best fight scenes I’ve ever seen. I just feel like it’s going to be watered down and “Disneyfied” to make it family-friendly and we know that DD is obviously not a family-friendly character. I just think of what they did to poor Vincent in Hawkeye and totally thought it was a joke because it was an insult to any season of Wilson Fisk/KP or most versions (at least from the comics from Daredevil and Spider-Man I read as a kid). It already stinks they’re not bringing back Elden or Deborah as Foggy/Karen. How are they going to be Avocados at Law? 😅 But Jon Bernthal said he would never come back as Frank Castle unless it felt true to his character so I don’t know if it’s true he’ll be in Born Again or have his own spin-off, but here’s to hoping Marvel gets their sh*t together! I loved the hell out of Season 2. I put the Lakewood Scream story over Scream 2-5 thanks to the story and character development and they mixed Ghostface with Friday the 13th real well with the story and the Lakewood Slasher mask. I go back and re-watch the show more than most of the movies just because the writing was top tier. I love the FUCK out of Emma Duval and Willa Fitzgerald. There's a reason why she's in these bigger projects and the rest of the cast isn't lol. Just seen a trailer to a new movie she's in with Mel Gibson I believe. She's so underrated as an actor and I really DO prefer her over Neve Campbell. Willa's also cute af. People don't talk about the show as much as they should because the show is actually creative with it's kills unlike the movies which each kill is exactly the same. Stab stab stab with a buck knife lmao. I'm really glad that you get to check this series out and give your opinions on it. This TV show is the reason why I became a fan of Scream again and Noah is my absolute favorite Scream character. Emma Duval really been through much more than Sidney mentally in this story and you can tell. Imo, Emma IS the strongest Final Girl of the Scream franchise (go ahead, hate me) because the fact that she was strong enough NOT to kill Kieran after everything he's done to her while everyone else in the franchise just kills them. Really tells you alot about Emma's character.

Just a few things I disagree with The implication that Scream 2 is worse than 6. Scream 4 and 5 are worse versions of Scream 1, and Scream 6 is a worse version of Scream 2. (They're all good movies though) Sidney did not outright kill Roman. She held his hand as he "died" and was sympathetic to him. He was only shot when he got right back up charging at them with a knife. Sidney just like Emma isn't an outright murderer like Sam is.

Seriously no sense! Ret-conning the person who was set up as a false suspect by the killer in Season 1 and having them be the killer in Season 2 was... just beyond stupid. And there's no goddamn motive! Beyond this connection between the two series' main killers that has barely been hinted at before and makes no sense! The killer's plan makes no sense! Nothing makes any sense! Arrrgh...

I finished season one. A couple weeks ago, It had some decent moments, i liked the Noah and Audrey. But lots of bad acting. Lots of nothing happening, lack of Ghostface Hated Emma and Brooke. Such slags When Emma first makes out with Kiran.. justified, but still a Biznitch, only kissed him to get even. Then the sec Will gets hurt, just days later, she's like boo hoo! I suck at crying! But i still love you! Lets get back together! The second he dies, shes back on Kieran's Jock. like damn! Girl dont you have more important things to do, that keep banging these two? Then Brooke.. flirting with Jake, bangin' Seth, making out with dude at the party just to make Jake Jealous, I was like oh i hope Ghostface gets Emma & Brooke so bad. I like season 1, season 2 was a little weaker but still good. Season 3 was horrible I couldn’t even finish watching it

The TV Series just isnt Scream. And i dont give a frick about the Characters its just sooo boring. I hope we will get a real TV Series in the future. A well written Series with good characters, the real mask and good characters.

I gotta copy a comment I wrote. As always, I gotta say something about the Scream series that should cause every Scream fan's heads to explode. The creators plans was for the first two seasons to be a TV series being filmed inside Scream's world. I think that is the most meta idea that these writers/co-creators could've crafted so that explains a bunch of the series. (I actually loved the series.) If that got your attention, great. So, their plans were as follows. (Bloody Disgusting published a great article featuring the co-creators detailing everything) Ok so here goes. Their plans for their envisioned third season was killing the whole cast except Kieran, Noah & Emma The 3 were to battle at the farm house, but Noah was to be killed. Emma kills Kieran and as the camera focuses at Kieran in a pool of his own blood..... The director yells "cut!" The article says: Pull back to reveal that we’re on the set of Scream: The Television Series. The actors hug, and mentions of the wrap party are made. “The killer is killed,” Register says, “then we pull back [to reveal it’s a TV production]. Amadeus Serafini [the actor who plays Kieran] walks into his dressing room, and is killed again.” For real, this time. The fourth season would have carried on with this meta approach, spinning a tale where the actors from the show play themselves. From the pitch: “Willa Fitzgerald, Bex Taylor-Klaus and John Karna all track a real life version of the Lakewood 6 that was stolen and woven into the series by the desperate original writer.” A killer in an original Ghostface mask, obsessed with the Scream franchise, would begin attacking various folks involved in the entire “Scream entertainment universe”, whether they’re writers, directors, producers, actors, etc. Yes, this would have opened the door for actors from the original film franchise to make appearances on the show, guest starring as themselves, all as the cast of the Scream TV series would be attempting to determine who is behind this slate of real life murders as the body count continues to rise. “The idea was to blow the walls off the television show and make it go super-meta,” Gans laughs. “That whole idea of that ending was that then you would pull out and then all of the Scream universe, the real Scream universe - the actual actors from it, and the writers, and the producers, and the crew who had made the original Scream movies were available to the story. The killer would have been someone who was obsessed with Scream who was stalking the cast.” But was there ever the possibility of marrying the television and film universes, aside from the meta season they’d pitched? Gan explains that there was another in-canon crossover option that they’d considered. “There was one version where there was a link [between the murders depicted in the show and the events of the film series], where they literally go to find Gale [Weathers, Courteney Cox’s character from the Scream film franchise] to ask about the murders. You’d go to the character.” Some extra info is: Weistein lied to the creators. The plans were eventually changed. The writers were let got but re-hired to act as showrunners of s02. We could've had astonishing greatness if the studio didn't ruined their clever meta plans for the series though

I personally liked the show. I lnow it's no where near the movies, but its a breath of fresh air. The killer does alot more then the movies. Ghost face doest just call only like the movies. But i like that he uses hacks, mini games, pretends to he other peoole through messages,. Like ghost face in the show is just more out there in terms of depth.
