Myers kinda does it a little bit in H6 when he kills the main character's brother after he gets out of the shower. Myers puts him in his death grip, pulls the guy's head back, and as he's cutting across the guy's throat, the guy brings his arm up to try to fight off Myers. It's then that Myers ends up slicing the brother's underarm while cutting his throat. Watch that scene. I remember cringing when Myers did it

This is gonna sound weird since Michael is a crazy psychopathic killer to begin with, but the way Michael kept grabbing a new knife each time to stab into Phil, almost as if he wanted to feel the kill again or wanted to get it right or something... it was the first time I thought: "Man, what is wrong with this guy?" Maybe because it wasn't purely practical, like using 1 knife. It's strange, despite being very tactical and stealthy, Michael seems to be very random as well and improvises a lot.

I agree the escaped patient could have been portrayed in a less stereotypical light, and also been casted as a similar height to James Jude Courtney however it does serve two important purposes for the film. 1. Provides character development for Karen, makes her death more brutal and helps instill into the audience what Laurie's bottled grief forming a Molotov cocktail of revenge will be. 2. It shows the dangers of the hivemind collective groupthink that comes with mobs.

Loved Teddy. That whole scene though was brutal. So good. And sad, and good. So bloody good. The whole mayhem of it. Beautiful ❤️🎬🎃
