Atheists are loving this, they jump on here as if they’re morally superior. Has this been proven yet, has he had his day in court yet or had a chance to defend himself? This is bad for the church and of course the victim if true. Stop with your holier than thou attitudes, all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Depends on your viewpoint I suppose. If you recall, just a couple weeks ago some Republican legislator (Jesse Edwards, New Hampshire) rejected a bill in his state that had to do with raising the age of consent. His rationale? Needs to resign immediately. This was covered up for decades, and it appears that Morris has lied to the church about when it happened (He was in his 20’s and married ) the age of the child he calls a “young lady” ( She was 12) and about the claim that he was “ blessed by the victim and her father” to continue in the ministry. The fact that the leadership was complicit in this cover up and are still covering for him, speaks volumes about them. Sorry, but the church needs to clean house, otherwise the name of Christ will continue to be dragged through the mud for the sake of one man’s need to hold on to money and power. 😢

Extremely sad. I remember a preacher in a sermon I listened to a long time ago ask the question to his congregation, "Is the Logos illogical?". Of course not. Most of the things we call on God to save us from or drive our lamentations or for which we hold Him or Her responsible is a result of the ignorance, greed, violence, laziness, and stupidity of man. He commands us to love, but we don't believe in it. If we do have to face judgement at the end of things most of us probably won't make it - unless God is truly forgiving beyond all imagination. And I suspect that includes most so called Christians.
