Lindor is worth every penny. He has earned the love of the fans. I remember when the team was struggling at the very start of the season, even Lindor, and each time he got to the plate the fans in the stands gave him ample support and cheers .... he is now beloved and deservedly so! It is a travesty this man was not in the All Star game... a travesty!

sadly lindor quickly learned one thing about new york fans - they will show their ire quickly. he's about to learn the other thing about new york fans - once they love you, their love is forever and is nearly unconditional lol. new york legend is something that simply never goes away, and he's already cemented himself. it would take a monumental regression for multiple years before this guy ever hears another boo.

Sadly not anymore. The schools locked down their playgrounds when they made them parking lots for charter school staff. Neighborhood grass space got fenced up. Space to play baseball has disappeared. The only time I see kids play baseball is organized leagues in baseball parks. They don't pick up a bat and a sponge ball anymore. The Kids moved onto basketball where there is a court in nearly every neighborhood. Basketball players are now trend setters and fashion models the kids want to emulate. ESPN promotes WNBA and bury MLB to the bottom of the page. Baseball is not bigger than Basketball in this town anymore. Baseball lovers are getting older while NBA lovers are much younger. Baseball is a harder sport to play and a harder sport to find space and equipment
