With College basketball, with NIL and the transfer portal, the draft has increasingly become even more of a crap shoot. This decision contradicts past strategies because this was a proactive decision rather than a reactive one. Go Knicks!

Sounds great but who have you drafted in the past five years that’s good? Plus every Knick pick will be towards end of the first round. However, it’s great Nets got back their own picks, as they will be high picks in next three years.

With Durant and Irving, the Nets went for the candy and junk food. With Bridges, the Knicks got a healthy balanced meal.

At this point, these aren’t plucky underdogs. The Knicks have to achieve something next year or they’ll be crushed and people start to turn on them.

Dumb take. This franchise is functional and exciting for the first time in decades. Enjoy the run and ignore the negative noise. This team is legit and if healthy a real contender. It isn't in their DNA to choke. They will fight for everything til the final second of however far the season goes
@An_Arctic_Tern4 ай бұрын
Yes they need to have success. But this team should be competitive for multiple years with this core. Top 4 seed and min 1 round win in playoffs next year. And more after.

@philipcross6733 if OG stays and they're all healthy for the playoffs, this is a chip contender. Boston is soft. They just had the easiest chip run in nba history. Overrated.

While I love the trade, it's still pointless as long as Thibodeau is the head coach. Knicks fans are truly delusional thinking this guy can even make it to the Finals, let alone win it all. I'm sure I'll get told "you don't know ball" by the "experts" on here but I prefer to rely on history and this guy has nearly TWENTY YEARS and 3 teams full of playoff failures on his resume. I hope I'm wrong but in my heart I know I'm not. Hopefully, once he fails again next season, Leon will finally wake up. Promote Johnnie Bryant now before someone else hires him.
