I agree with Sal. We need to beat the Braves. We have NEVER beaten them when it mattered most. With the Braves its a mental thing. We can beat Philly yes, but the Braves....thats just straight psychological. I hope we take the next two, but I agree we need to face them Mano y Mano.

Mets beating the Braves is the equivalent of the Twins facing the Yankees and beating them. Or Cleveland facing the Yankees and beating them. For the Mets this series is HUGE. They need to forget about being "classy", go out there and TAKE IT PERSONAL and DOMINATE.

Y'all act like you're actually playing a good team. If this Mets team can't beat this make-shift Braves team, then you were never good to begin with. Even despite a disgraceful loss last night, the Mets will get in even losing 2/3 to Atlanta. They effectively have a 1.5 game lead on Arizona due to the tiebreaker and if you think the Mets loss was bad last night Arizona has completely folded like a cheap suit, blowing an 8 run lead and losing 11-0 at home in the same week. And they play the padres next. Arizona is DONE. And it would be far better for the Mets to finish as the 3rd wild card. The path is easier trying to go through the Brewers and Phillies than the two west coast monsters.
