That's one way to tell everyone you know nothing about firearms. What if it was a kid with an airsoft? What if they were mistaken about it being a rifle barrel, and they shot a homeless man over a fishing pole? You do not fire until fired upon or you have visually confirmed your target. Seeing something sticking out of a bush is not visual confirmation. Beyond that, the Mar-a-Lago Country Club is a residential neighborhood. Reckless discharge of a firearm in a residential area is not only criminal, it's also a good way for innocent bystanders or uninvolved parties to catch a stray bullet. If you don't have any firearms training, don't have any tactical experience in dealing with an active shooter, and don't understand basic rules of engagement, you really shouldn't be offering "advice" to, or questioning the tactics of those who do.
