I use this method in games without a shot clock and have improved greatly. Now I tear up clashes. Thanks Jason.

Just starting to play WGT. Thanks for the tutorial. Although, the concepts and math process, if used, would result in a 4 hours golf round.

Takes time to get it down to a routine , but once you get the swing of it after a while , doing the numbers won’t be so difficult. Lots of practice and rehearsal .

This method imho is best suitable for solo play.

Ya, it'd take me forever to go through all of that, so I guess I'll play by feel and suck, lol!! I've gotten pretty good at eyeballing and using the meter. It is Very interesting that you can get it down to a literal science. Great video.

How are you counting the dots bro?? I mean which dot are you counting, the dot closest to the pin or somewhere in the middle of the distance bwn the pin and the ball?? Also can we take average of ball speeds and if so how??

This has helped me improve my one putts immensely in the past few months. After two years of building up my one putt percent to 55.4% on feel Ive moved it to 57.8% using this technique. Small increments but still trying to improve. Do you have any advice when the camera angle is off centered? The math no longer works when my ball is off line from the pin more often than not. I end up having to add whatever I feel is right because I can see there’s no way the ball is going to hold a line. Ball set up X% of a grid left or right of the hole when viewing from behind the hole? Have you found any way to build that in to your calc?

When and why do you change the putter from 15 to 60 feet’s?
@williamduncan5495

In your original JC Snead method for PC, you said the first grid was 15” and each successive grid is 10”. In this video, you are saying each grid is linear at 15”. So, which is it? 10” per grid after the first grid or 15”? Or, is PC and Mobil two different animals?

Thank you very much!! But why do you add 2 at final calculation of how hard you need to hit the putt?
@tjcrossman4582
@tjcrossman4582 4 жыл бұрын
I havent fully watched the video, but im assuming he is trying to ensure the ball reaches the hole. with the 2 extra feet its basically guaranteed that as long as your line is right the ball will drain. If you hit exact power to reach the hole, there is a chance it could come up short. You have a chance to sink putts that go long but a 100% chance youll miss if it goes short.

i'd also like to know what dots are you looking at to calculate the speed? is it the first square your 2 feet are on or the square next to that on the right? also do you start counting from the dot leaving your putter line and how many squares do you count up to the hole if say you was going to count and then divide to get an average? you say you kinda gauge it but i am confused so much on what dots you are looking at and counting? is it the faster ones that break the line when you reset the dots or is it say 6 grids and then count until all the dots have passed across 1 grid (if that makes sense) i feel my calculations are off because my counting isn't right..one last thing on mobile do you still count half the grid and then double that number or just half a grid and use that number? thanks again..

Thanks Young but I have a question. I looked but I don't think anyone has asked. If a grid is 15, why wouldn't half of that be 7.5? You are saying it is 10. Thanks in advance!!!!

are you counting the dots from half the grid (when you click the aim box and reset the dots) then taking that number or are you doubling that number for the full box? or do you count from the start/edge of the box and wait for the dots to cross the whole grid/square? that bit confuses me and thats why i think my numbers are out.. thanks WGT young excellent video..
@Young46

I count half grid dots and use that number. I don’t double it to make a full grid dot speed.

mickey barker in an older video about JC Sneed method you say the grid lines go 15, 25, 35 etc. In this video you say it goes 15, 30, 45 etc. Hoping to get some clarification!

Something Is Missing... Jason or Someone: You show two different steps in example #1 and #2, but don't clarify? What am I missing? **1st Example: Raw # 2.86 ÷ 5 = 57% ÷ 2 = 2.8. {Here you ÷ raw # twice.} **2 Example: Raw # 5.83 NOT ÷ by 5 and then ÷ by 2? What's Missing Here?

10.1 + 3.9= 14 ft 12 speed divide by 4 is 3.5 feet So aim one cup off and hit it at 11 speed
@rickinwast
@rickinwast 4 жыл бұрын
1st calculation you have 2.86 ÷ 5 = .57%. You ÷ .57 by 5 = 2.8. 2nd calculation the # is 5.8, you do not ÷ this number by 5? Why the difference?

The only way this method would a) be testable and b) be needed, is on harder putts. The success on this particular putt means nothing..
