This episode of Waka Huia celebrates Te Reo Māori through the lens of the Māori Language Commission - Te Taura Whiri i Te Reo Māori. This year marks 35years since the establishment of Te Taura Whiri, and this episode pays homage to the long journey of Te Reo revitalisation and to the many hands that have helped to weave the rope of Te Reo into the fabric of society in Aotearoa. The land in which it derives from.
