BTW Rudy, it's confirmed that Anime rights often come in "package deals", meaning it's normal that weiss alternates between popular animes and mid, less popular animes.

What happened was there was a lot of drama with the anime studio animating AOT, there was a long delay before the final season (which was also broken up into multiple seasons) and people just stopped caring. If you wanted to know how the story ends folks could just read the manga and thus all the AOT hype died dramatically. (plus the lack of waifus in these boxes)

What happened was this was the worst aot set in every conceivable way Terrible art 0 waifus English exclusive meaning the playability is almost guaranteed to be terrible(this is true for practically every en exclusive set) It came out after the hype for the series was absolutely dead And came out after the card craze as well started to die down significantly Also RRR's are not a win Theyre more often worth less than SR's They are not a hit

Most Shōnen animes/manga's fail to stick the landing, mostly because it operates on a popularity poll so the author typically tells the story the wanted (even basically the ending) at the midway point because they don't really know how much time they have. So you either get a boring ending (which is a replay of the halfway mark) or the author decides to 'subvert expectations' (usually accompanied with a mad dash yolo rush to the end) or they never finish... go on decade long hiatus and then die.

It's because the ending to Attack on Titan's Manga/Anime killed any interest in it. Not BECAUSE it ended, but due to how badly they flubbed it.
