So thankful there were trained individuals available to rescue this animal! We should be ashamed of our lax standards that have resulted in so much marine debris, especially fishing gear.

Such an amazing story. Thank EVERYONE who helped free this beautiful animal. You guys are all hero’s! It’s sad to see just how many end up tangled in gear that end up dying. Still a very happy story. Thanks so much for sharing it with us all❤️🐋❤️

It does need to be stopped!! Or put markings on every rope and when they r found on any animal sue the balls off these morons!
@BoilerBloodline4 жыл бұрын
Justmiss jamey Agreed...but the only way that happens is if we ALL stop eating ocean fish. I’m very hopeful with new technologies that other means for those who make a living from our oceans can utilize that isn’t so hard on sea life.

There’s a huge amount of human junk in the oceans and nothing appears to be happening to stop more fishing gear being dumped. The consequences of it can be, is being horrific. I for one am so angry laws are still to be put in place to minimise more gear & nets being dumped. This rescue has a happy ending but for many many animals there is no rescue. That is heartbreaking

The Whale Disentanglement Network around the world does great work. Unfortunately the can't save all. It always surprises me how patient the whales are while the people work on freeing them, as if they realise what is going on

I'm glad it was a successful rescue. I am wondering why divers weren't sent down to assess the situation from a better view point.

If you are serious. There are three places in the US that you could contact but it is a life-and-death situation for the human many times depending on which one you work for. More than likely what you saw there was unpaid. Start with calling the National Oceanic Society or NOAA they show their logo in the pictures and they are worldwide. And then it goes into deeper like the Sea Shepherd kind of rescue from there. They stop whaling in waters where is very dangerous! You basically make a pledge that you'll give up your life for the whales or any of the sea animals that are being murdered. Different ends of the spectrum. But there are trained divers needed so badly for things like this and other things that are similar remember Turtles and seals get in these situations also anything that lives in the ocean. I hope you're serious and I hope that you get the chance to be a part of something in one way or another. Whatever you do you can feel a calling to help so good luck!🐾👣🖤🌱🐸

A Monumental Rescue by such caring people... Although it seems those responsible for such atrocities commited on such majestic creatures should all be rounded-up and tossed right off their own vessel's...🤨 Maybe after a few times they will begin to understand what it feels like...🤔 The world of consumers are mainly to blame and the disgusting politics behind the fishing industry like most industries are all criminals acting with complete immunity... It all must end and all culprits put away for their cold-blooded acts..! Such beautiful creatures being tortured & killed off by nothing more than greed..!

Being vegan would stop this and so much more! The suffering animals go though and 100% unnecessary! Almost 56 years of veganism. I am so healthy other than what I was genetically handed. Adding what I do not take from this planet makes my carbon footprint almost nonexistent. This planet deserves so much more. .🖤💜💙💚💛🧡❤🥀👣🐾🥀🖤🦇🥀🖤🦇🥀🖤🐌🐣🐥🕸🕷🕯🥬🥦🌱🐸👣🐾
