This precious baby hasn’t been able to eat because of that net! I hate seeing what happens when these seals are entangled and fighting for their life! Namibia is a poor country... the fisherman there don't usually have this sort of gear and if they do they are VERY reluctant to write it off as loss because generally they cannot afford that kind of equipment turnover. Ergo, this stuff is probably from wealthy country's fishing fleets who don't care if they maintain the integrity of the south Atlantic coastal ecosystems. They probably view fur seals as competition in the first place and would gladly kill a few more. Herein the pacific northwest fisherman get in trouble for shooting seals and sealions fairly often.

I am not a Ukrainian or Russian speaker but Apple is usually pretty good at translating Russian so I don’t know why Apple would consider this comment to be written in Ukrainian if it wasn’t.
