Actually it was misjudgement on the Makoto player's. That distance wasn't orochiable. If he did medium standing kick he might've killed him with a perfect TOD. But I think most Makotos don't know standing medium kick hits at that distance in juggles. I do it a lot tho.

It's usually the hayate version you're using, try medium Hayate then EX Oroshi and it should work

@@onkarlally It's actually more likely because Frexia (accidentally) charged the Hayate to level 1, which you can tell by Makoto having an after-effect when doing the move. Lvl1 hayate does a little more damage (you can do it off of a st.HP with any Hayate to get a little bit of extra damage), but in juggles it doesn't let you do 2 Hayates in a row (you can see the "14 hit super art" text appearing way before Frexia even could've gone for the EX hayate). (...Actually I have no idea if lvl1 hayate has more pushback vs. juggled opponents than uncharged hayate, but even so, make sure you don't charge your Hayate in these kind of juggles or your follow-up hit won't work regardless of distance to the opponent.)

@@riiyaFGC you’re right I think, I tested it and if I leave my finger on the arcade button too long for mp hayate it does cause pushback. I think the height of the opponent also matters. The most consistent way I’ve found after stun is to try and do the mk tsurugi as soon as possible to give more leeway.
