You don't need a KZbin channel to prove that you can do the work. I was in business 17 years before the internet started. My first big job I was 18 years old. It's all about product knowledge. It's not about age. If you can't explain it, if you don't know the building codes, you don't have product knowledge, then you can't sell it.

I live in california and i renovated my yard which had an existing pool that was was demolished. Did it with the help of my family and the total came out too around 15k in all. It’s a lot of work but I saved 85k lol .

Hey man , I’m having a similar problem where I’m a Designer/Project Manager but some of the work by the guys and even by the owner is sometimes shoddy/rushed / not done right . For example, there was this pergola and they didn’t even pour the base concrete footings correctly (they mixed it with the dirt ). And i told them that’s not done right ; but they and the owner left it. Sure enough , the pergola contractors come in to install pergola and they say the same damn thing I said. And they left without doing the job because it wasn’t done right. Then they go ahead and blame it on me , to the client . Like wtf .I need to start my own business but can’t get my contractors license until 4 years experience based on the CA standards . I’m only on year one. Is there anyway around this that you know of ? I’m in Northern California too, any advice would be greatly appreciated .

It's a lot different in Silicon Valley though T, because houses here start at a million dollars, the average income here is over $200k. In say Sacramento, Washington State, Nevada etc $100k jobs aren't as plentiful as they are here. $100k jobs are average jobs here in Silicon Valley. It's not anything special here. And your company specifically only advertises in the "high end" neighborhoods. You don't advertise in the greater Silicon Valley.

It’s really hard to believe this when a lot of people descend from people who made all their riches from free slave labor and if you don’t know this then you are a dummy. Most businesses, corporations and banks made their money from slavery. I been in this country for a very long time but I realize as a Mexican people don’t want to pay you fair I mean there’s a lot of work but people don’t pay and always take advantage of one’s naiveness and inexperience. In business you have to invest wether is the hard way meaning you don’t have nothing or the easy way when you have money, friends or family members that can help you and that’s the way it should be. In conclusion I don’t believe all the rhetoric about starting from the bottom then to become successful I mean the percentage of that is like extremely low specially knowing the fact that everything the u.s has was accomplished by free slave labor even to this day if you can only get paid just to pay rent, food, clothing and bills only nothing much left to really enjoy life; we are still in slavery.
