I bought AC2 this week, bought it out curiousity since SteamDB says this game rating is like on the top 5 from all of other AC games. My first impression was something like "Man, this game is old", of course it is, from like it's gameplay mechanics for example. But there's something kind of nostalgic, where games, especially single-player games are meant to be pure fun, and enjoyed by unlocking stuffs purely by playing the game instead of pay to win. By the time I typed this comment, I still roaming around the streets of Forlì. Hope it's gonna be pretty great experience for me playing the game. I just replayed Ac2 for the first time in 10 years and movement wise it still feels fantastic. Unity is my favorite in the series for gameplay and I do love its parkour but in terms of coming up with solutions and creative ways from using the system on a deeper level, its always more of just looking cool. A lot of tricks and shortcuts I've come up with in Ac1-3 just wouldn't be possible in Unity, and thats mainly due to the removal of the side eject. Well, side ejects are there, but extremely context sensitive and automated, up until Unity you could do an eject anywhere in any direction. Scramble up a wall that doesn't have any climbable parts and side eject or back eject onto something else like a hanging bar. Use an eject to skip a few platforms or to boost yourself up faster. Not really a thing in Unity. Unitys parkour would feel a lot better with proper ejecting off of anything.

It depends on the guard archetypes, they can be a one shot. I will agree with you tho that TKs are one of the main things they go wrong, worst part about them is that as soon as you use one while in front of an enemy they often detect you just before they get killed by it (even if they aren’t even suspicious of you) which can lead to you desyncing certain missions it’s so dumb, they fixed it in future games though

@@sealsnatch oh that’s great man! You’ll figure a lot out by yourself. Have fun man, AC2 is my all time favourite game. Also make sure you play ac1-brotherhood and revelations if you haven’t already! Even if just for the story alone.
