If you’re struggling with parrying his jumping attack, all you need to do is take a step or two forward once he’s in the air. Due to the way enemies decide to attack (basically you just need to be in range) in this game, they’ll end up hitting you with the end of their weapon and you can only parry attacks at the base of their weapon. Basically just hug enemies, otherwise you’ll only get partial parries.

It OK, in Dark Souls game, you not interest learn on boss, even if it Gwyn, cuz, even at NG++++++, you can use Solaire summon cheese Lord Gwyn very easy. For a lot of people, main fights are Manon and Kalimeet. The Manon fight with shield is totally awesome. Shield and Demon Spear. Take forever. On edge of seat. Stamina mismanage and you dead. Plus. You can't have slot bar equipped to heal, cuz Manon have the 3 spell casts, where you need special pendant.

I recently decided to do a SL1 run through the games. I refused the urge to parry so hard, because one slip would mean I'd have to run back (which I did anyway). Without summons, Gwyn took me more tries than Ivory King lol

Bloodborne has been by far the hardest low level run imo, even more than DkS2. I blame the awful framerate tho, even on PS5 it feels so sluggiah
