What a freaking view the old man had! He left with his dignity, on his own terms, IN HIS HOME! That is worth more than words can muster.

My condolences Billy Ray & family. You'll see him again soon. When my fiance died, a grief counselor taught me to give myself timeouts from my grief. Cry when needed & take a break. Repeat. Give yourself time for both. ❤ Beautiful view. Gorgeous cats.

Buckin', we lost our son to fentanyl overdose April 2023. I found him in his bed. Grief can be overpowering. What helped me was this: "Motion is the cure for grief." Peace and strength to you and all who grieve the passing of your Pops. Blessings from North Carolina.

Buckin’, you’re doing the right thing. Just keep on being yourself. I’m so glad that you had the opportunity to be with your father for the last five years of his life. My dad battled with drugs until the last five years of his life and he became a very good man. He passed in 2012 at the age of 56 on Christmas Day. For a long time, it bothered me. But I truly found salvation and comfort, and knowing I’m being the man that I am supposed to be. And the man, my father would be proud of. I know this needle of a message in this large haystack may never reach you. And I know you said we only know who you want us to see, but I tell you, from what you have shown us, taught me personally through your videos and content, and the emotion I have felt through some of your videos when you talk about deep things. Truly find comfort when you speak deeply in your videos because I don’t have a father anymore. I am now a father, but I still need my dad. Please stay on your path. You’ve reached me and I know you’ve reached thousands of other people on another level. Thank you so much Buckin’ Hope you stay happy friend.

How amazing! I am a true believer that Mother Nature will show glory when an important soul is lost. I’ve seen it myself a few times. I remember when I was 11 years old and attending my uncles funeral. It was pouring down rain all day. When the service started inside the church, the sun came out and shined through a small window and directly onto the casket. Completely illuminating the casket and nothing else. I will never forget that moment. I’m 36 now. Hang in there buckin. Life makes no sense. Death makes even less sense. But life goes on.

670 likes. And you were thinking people might not be wanting to share in your trials and tribulations. I know likes aren’t important right now but I appreciate the viewers (and members) showing their true colors. How cool is that to get reaffirmation that your work is working Billy. There not just “talking the talk” but also walking the walk! I don’t know your Dad except thru your videos, and yet your loss affects me deeply and carries me back to my own Pops departure to his forever home. You’re doing a great thing, sharing and feeling publicly. I’m honored to be a member and I’m also so proud of our regular and casual viewers showing such grace and love during this time.

Very sorry for your loss. My dad passed several years ago. Mom passed later, just at the start of Covid. My friend who is a strong believer in the afterlife and spirits said that she saw my dad came to her, and carried her with him. She said it’s not unusual to have partners walk side by side. That my father carried her is totally believable, he adored her, and she him. I hope your dad finds the peace we all deserve. And yourself. Keep up the good work, but take the time you need to grieve.

Hey Buckin', I'm really sorry for your loss! I can't even imagine what it must be like talking about it in a KZbin video only a day after, knowing it'll go out to a few hundred thousand people. But I want to thank you for doing it, reminding the rest of us to cherish every moment we get with our loved ones. I've been thinking a lot about it this past year, and have really been focusing on spending time with my own parents and appreciating every moment with them. Also I wanted to thank you for all the content you put out. Seeing the passion in your eyes and hearing it in your voice when you talk about trees, axes, power saws and all the amazing stories you tell is truly inspirational. Much love to you brother ❤❤🩹
