I've got near 2700 hours in The Isle myself, been playing since Day 1 of the old, old maps. Good memories, and yeah, you quickly see the new players from the vets. We learn old tricks and they always work because newer or inexperienced players don't realize the finer mechanics in this game and it pays off every time. lol. #1 battle tactic is patience, hands down. This applies to any creature, your opponent is commonly an inexperienced person who is impatient and will almost always show their hand if you let them, simply by waiting them out for them to do something stupid lol. It was like this on Legacy and still holds true in Evrima.

aye! im halfway there myself, 1000 hours of evrima is quite the achievment, but 2000 hours! holy hell. thats just amazing. one day i wish i could get as good as you in the isle. now ive learnt from my time in evrima to plan out what im going to do next, how to engage fights and how to escape if need be. good job man, i love your videos and thanks for uploading! sadly though one problem ive had with the isle is my Ping, im in australia and usually after a week or so of a new update the AU servers always die down so i have to play on laggier servers.

I really tried with this game, I really did, but it just stresses me out, when I have to dedicate HOURS of playtime to grow a single dino, only to lose it in just seconds when I run into a hostile player and have to start all over again. It's just not fun for me.

It is a bit hardcore and definately not beginner friendly. But once your learn the. Basics your life expectancy will go. Up drastically. Otherwise just watch my videos xD
