Meanwhile whenever I see one burning I'll go out of my way to steal health kits from them. Even hurting myself to do so if I'm able to and then laugh as they plop. They suck all of the fun out of TF2. Quickscoping is horrendously broken. I will not heal them. I will not extinguish them. I will not go out of my way to protect them. With any luck they'll give up and switch to something less cancer before they cause the other team to go counter Sniper and turn the game into a drag.

@@westbrookmvp7826 I wouldn't consider Sniper a teammate. They hardly have any interaction with the team. Sniper is solo. He sits in the far back where he can get cheap picks from across the map on people who can't even see him, unlike Spy who has a similar role but still has to do his job in close quarters like the majority of the game was designed and often depends on his teammates to keep more alert players distracted. Sniper is just a better, more overpowered Spy who completely ignores the core design of the game, and can do his entire job at it's most optimal being far back while his team pushes. As far as calling me cancer goes, I'd say chemo is a more appropriate term. Radiation is bad for people but we use it because big pharma won't release the cure for cancer, much in the same way Valve won't cure the Sniper cancer with a long overdue nerf. Instead, the most we can do is make people not want to play the class.

To even get to the Sniper you have to navigate past the enemy team. You can't just run through. You'll be shot at by his teamates. Good luck fighting enemy teammates while a Sniper is looking at you. Realistically the only way most classes would be able to confront the Sniper would be if they pulled an instant, total team wipe of the Sniper's team and rushed him before they all respawned. Pretty much the only character capable of engaging a good Sniper in close quarters is a Spy, but Spy is easy to counter by simply being aware, and a lot of annoying quick scopers will jump and look around their nest while waiting for targets to take. Quickscoping is broken. And until Valve gets off their lazy ass and nerfs it I don't think people playing Sniper really deserve anyone's respect. They suck the fun out of the game. You know, people say there's those kind of Snipers who, once they join, you might as well just leave. Well you know what? I don't want to have to leave every time some quickscoping scumbag comes in. You leave.

@@SDseb It's the fact that they force you to play against them that is the very reason I *don't* respect them. Most people are pretty aware at this point that Sniper is pretty broken. I'm pretty sure the good ones are self aware of just how unfun they make the game. I wish community servers would open up with that class limit plugin and just disable the class. Give us some 0 Sniper servers so I can actually play things like Trolldier and Fat Scout and have fun without being body shotted out of the air mid flight.

@@TF-Boom Yeah, if you're on a pub then you're on your own. Also, some maps don't even have ways to flank the Sniper. Like Turbine. Snipers like to sit in the open hall. The only way to flank is to go through the intel, which is obviously going to be heavily guarded. And then there's actually pushing through the Sniper's teamates, all while avoiding the Sniper, and you have to actually reach him in once piece. By then you're probably at low health. All it takes is one Bodyshot to kill a Scout. And honestly you don't need the razor to counter Spy. You just have to be aware. Also, Snipers can easily profit off of camping sentries. The jarate and bushwacka is far more broken. Remember when they nerfed amby because they said Spy is a close to mid class and shouldn't be good at long range? Wish they had that mindset with Sniper. I'm convinced that the devs who did the final updates were all Sniper mains. A lot of the weapon changes really catered to Snipers, like how the danger shield shuts down Pyro's ability to use flares, even though Pyro was already at a huge disadvantage against Sniper. Bonk now slows Scout down after it ends based on damage he took. So if you use that to get past enemy and get to the Sniper, you're likely going to be nice and slow for an easy kill when it ends.
