Finally apartment tour is up ✨✨✨ Update: They increased the rent price to $4,250 (approx. 23 % increase 😳😳😳) I forgot to mention in the video that I am selling majority of my furniture and artwork as well. Moving out in a month :) If you are interested for pickup, DM me IG : @tishashrestha

watching some of your nyc vlogs and I had no idea you already lived so close to nyc already before all of this. why move on the island when you were already in the area anyway? Lol I guess the answer could simply just be because you wanted to lmao, but it’s just a lil confusing (especially with the value/the things you got from this apartment even with that awful robbery of a rent increase when you split the cost with your sister compared to the current one in manhattan). I thought you initially lived away from nyc. This apartment was lovelyyyy

Took me a while to convince myself too lol :)) My sister and I were going on separate paths since she is getting married this year. 1 bedroom or studio in downtown JC is expensive as well but i would have probably been able to find one with washer dryer in the unit or building. Prices would have been somewhat similar but I would have had more options. Main difference is the taxes. It’s higher in the city. Financially it would have made sense to live in JC. Currently, I am single and don’t have any human kids. Thought this would be the right time to do it … if not looking back I would have regretted not taking this step. Even though I lived so close to the city, the energy is so different. I really thought visiting city over the weekend vs living here would be different but I was so wrong. Short answer- just wanted to live the city experience and avoiding any regrets in future 🫶🏻

@@TishaShresthaI made the same exact move as you, last year. I moved to NYC from JC because I was single, and it’s always been a dream. I too live on my own! What a cool thing you did and that you’re documenting it too :)
