Many long term visa holders may rent instead of buying a property. As the ringgit is fluctuating. If it goes up, of course it is good.

Yes it is. When I first came to Malaysia in 2014... $1 USD was about 4 MYR. Now it's down to closer to $1 USD being about 5 MYR.

Personally I wouldn't commit in buying property in Malaysia. Economy is not doing so good, real estate sector is slumping (over supply of units), RM is down& costs rising, it will take years to recover. I live in KL and the best deal is to rent; one can get very nice place for nothing. 😊

all of these places are nice, but to stack 400k to get out a little bit more than 1k plus all the tax i would have to pay.. That's toooooo much. Better get a real estate here in Croatia and make more money both in tourism season and renting it monthly if not at the coast..

A lot of the newer apartments offer way better value for money than this. Just my opinion
