I liked the way she slowed down and checked both ways before crossing the road. I'm impressed that a 6 year old would remember to this when having fun on a mountain bike. She must have a great teacher!

Just in case anybody got gassed on her young age and missed the incredible detail that she looks through her turns better than most KZbin MTB’ers, I will put on the Captain Obvious cape and point it out. You can learn from anybody, no matter the age! Also, it just hit me that following a child down a track is a great way to slow down (almost like a track walk) and observe way more of the terrain than at normal speed which long term will help you become faster. 🤘🏽

@@mmj7700 This kind of skill will help her when it comes time for her learning to drive. Things I learned in track and field and my dad teaching me to drive a power boat BEFORE I learned how to drive a car, all great transferable skills and mindset. Sport and getting your kids active is SO important in the grand scheme of things. I realize money is always an issue but where there's the will, there's the way 👍

Ive been downhill mountain biking for over 15 years. Ive dreamt of the day that I would see my son shredding with daddy. Hes 4 years old right now. I would take him on my mountain bike in his little seat in the front (kidsriteshotgun, its great) and we would smash down the hills his first 2 years. It brings me joy but leaves me in tears that I will not be able to do this with my son ever again. All due to nerve damage to my knee after 3 surgeries where its left me permanently disabled to the point where I cant use my leg at all. Enjoy every moment of that little girl mom and dad, you guys are doing it right.
