What a bad CV joint sounds like (front end rattling)

You will hear at 00:18 when I turn right the rattling caused by the bad cv joint on the right side.
(I'm wearing gloves because it's well below freezing and my car wasn't heated up yet)

HONESTLY, I went to a shop they told me it might be the cv axle but mine noise is so faint and so it’s hard to tell without taking it apart and this car making the exact same sound 😭

Update.. i had this noise of rumbling, was offside front wheel bearing was phooked, u need to jack it up and spin it.. hear a rumble... it could be any corner of the car.. Cv axles will pop and bang when setting off, and turning full lock at slow speed due to the torque.. Try putting grease in where the boots are first. Might be dry joint.. 19 years experience,

Mine sounds like that but I thought it was the rear brakes cuz their drums and haven’t been bled in a long while. Only thing is it doesn’t rattle too much when turning, even when backing up. Only if I lock the wheel will I get a little crunch.

@@humannfinn7117 it's not. Bc it started and got worse ina 5 hour time frame. The mechanical I called said to check that the lug nuts arent loosening. It's raining super hard right now so I'll check in a bit, but If it's not that I let might be the ball joint or bearings. Possibly a coupling on the drive shaft near the wheel.

I've got the same car my car only vibrates while accelerating or cruising you know at speed where it's got to have a little force on the engine. It doesn't make any noises really I hear a little pump and sound that sounds like the struts are bad but I know my sway bar bushings are bad.😅 The vibration is getting worse and worse. I've probably underneath it and tried to see if the CV axle is bad by rotating it and pushing it in and out and there's no way that I can see or feel. I don't know if it's a CVS or not because it's not making any noise

Its drivable but would definitely recommend getting it fixed as soon as possible. If u drive on the freeway often it can become much worse overtime and eventually be very dangerous

That's often the boot being loose and either fluttering or striking the frame.

This sounds pretty similar to noise I got in my 4wd bt50, checked my cv joints and it's got up and down play, quite a noticeable amount, and my hunch has been confirmed, your are a god my friend

Means it's metal on metal and you need new pads. My back drums do that now 😂

I have a 2004 Ford F150 I changed it to relays for the fuel pump control valve and it started up Anova down the road and black missing so I nailed it and it died now it just barely turns over around rental but it sound like it's only getting half the juice to the starter battery is good starter I change three times I changed the cable everything I could think of but the fuel pump module control module anybody help me
