Yeah. I was trying to work out what he could be on. The straight draw is a red herring. It only makes sense late. Particularly with two queens in her hand. So I guess he was repping 2 kings. @mejeff7478two aces on the river block a lot of hands. He is trying to sell a straight by check raising which is weird af. If they had been at the table for a while they probably know each others surface level play style.
@e1dsd7207 ай бұрын
@mejeff7478 I've only played poker for 4 years at 2/5. But I remember the first time I watched the video, my feeling was not folding before seeing the ending. You are definitely right in terms of pure theory, but not everyone plays through that. This guy specifically is known to play with his balls more than his brain, that's also relevant info.
@whostherehuhk7 ай бұрын
Everyone in these replies either sucks at poker or doesnt know how much they suck... Its heads up, the bluff was so obvious and to top it off the lack of certainty she had when calling just nailed the low level of these players

Not when the flush and various straight draws (KQ, 97) comes in she doesn’t. That’s one of the worst river cards in the deck for her.
@cyruslad54625 ай бұрын
Yeah even with those on, she's already calling with him repping trip aces or even a FH, the addition of a flush draw and even straight doesn't really change things, she already called against the repping of higher hands. Plus his bets don't rep a straight or flush draw. Once she calls his re raise she's committed.

He needed KQ or an ace in his hand, but he didn't act like he flopped a set, or acted like he had anything. The aggression gave it away.
@Sphere7232 ай бұрын

@xibalbadelarosa60432 ай бұрын
For those that think it was a dumb call, this is a heads up match, the chances of her opponent actually having an Ace are extremely low. If this was a regular game with a bunch of quaks then the possibility of someone having the ace is much higher, this is just a great example of why bluffing is only good when the pot doesnt belong to someone so anyone can claim it, bluffing might win you more hands but when you lose you'll lose big or lose it all.
