Stoat: a close relative of weasels and ferrets, also known as ermine. Tulle: a thin, transparent mesh fabric, used for things like veils and many-layered gowns. Elogy: not a word. I suspect you were mixing eulogy (a speech praising someone who just died) and elegy (a poem, especially a lament for the dead). Despite their similarities, these words don't seem to be etymologically related.

Are you sure elogy isn't a word? I thought that was what you called an inscription on a tombstone. Maybe that's elegy, but I think that's slightly different. 🤷‍♂️

Elogy is most definitely a word, albeit maybe somewhat outdated.

I got it with 6 guesses remaining… I would've had it in 7, if I hadn't tried an R in the corner instead of a D [I did have a white D in the grid].
