can you guys provide a list of gear in the video? that would be very helpful. Thank you

Thank you for showing and sharing with us your personal used gear. Seeing how well the equipment held up during use and seeing how easy each product fit`s and stores is far better then seeing bright new shiny equipment that many adventure rider`s have store away in their closest collecting dust instead of dirt from trails. Ride Fast, Far, Forever.

ASW Rally Jacket. I would recommend the Leatt 4.5 X-Flow now. ASW are Brazilian and not easy to find outside of Brazil or Portugal. The Leatt jacket is very similar but much easier to find 👌

@@BrakeMagazine Perfect, I had an eye on the Leatt 4.5 X-Flow. Any trouble with the weight of the bladder pulling the jacket towards the back and "strangling" you? Thanks for your reply

Great vid! Couple questions... have you tried the water tube system that ports into the helmet? I had what you had and found it was hard to get a free hand sometimes to grab a bit of water whereas if it were in the helmet I would have been drinking more. Also, do you think something like the Leatt 5.5 armor (full chest and sleeves) would be too heavy for you? Thanks
@jasonjayalap6 жыл бұрын
He rides with that ce 1 back and chest he quickly showed. Doesn't like full armor cuz the weight.

Just curious if there is a compromise of road abrasion protection vice impact protection given you mentioned wearing the same gear on your adventure bike? I am assuming you wear the same gear on road aswell?
@BrakeMagazine Жыл бұрын
This is a great question. It kinda depends on the type of riding. I wouldn't go road riding in this gear no. If I'm riding technical off-road ADV riding I would.

So the chest and back protector are in the armour but a lot of guys, including Simon don'e wear shoulder or elbow protection. It's compulsory to wear chest and back protection too.

So he just wears a roost guard under a desert jacket?, what does he use to protect his forearms and shoulders??.. Nothing I guess??..
@BrakeMagazine6 жыл бұрын
Simon personally wears nothing. For him it's a comfort thing. Having more freedom and less heat traps are important for a lot of riders off road. The chest and back protector are CE approved just a roost guard. They have to be under Dakar rules. Thanks for watching!
