I would be super interested to listen to your burn-out story. I’m at that flip-point now. I fell into a burn-out last year because of a grueling office experience and am at that point now where I’m rearranging. I’m started a new job for 3 days a week to support my ceramics 2-3 days a week, and I’m hoping thats going to be a good change. Cheers from Holland!

Thank you for talking openly about this. I also have a small creative business (3 days) while working a part time job (4 days) and juggling the two is always a challenge. I've been doing it for 3 years now, and had my first burnout this past Christmas period. It's dawning on me that this isn't a sustainable way of living and eventually I'll have to stick with one or the other. But it's tricky. You need the job to pay the bills, and at the same time you need to spend time on your business, otherwise it will never grow. Anyway! I've ordered your book and waiting for it in the post :)

Hi Lilly 🫶🏻 I would love to see a vid where you talk about your burnout experience. I'm a fellow ceramicist, three years into my official pottery biz & I dealt with burnout (let’s be real a couple of burnouts) in the past… Going back to a normal part time job sounds kinda daunting and almost like it would burn me out even more 🫠

This was so chill to watch! It has been a couple of years since I've been able to be in a pottery studio after my local closed up and moved to Melbourne, so just feeling like I was in the studio with you for a day was a HUGE vibe! It was great just listening to you chat and work and I'd definitely be interested in hearing about how you got through your burnout :)

Es baut auf, dich mit den Händen so viele schöne Dinge erschaffen zu sehen. Trotz Kälte und trauriger Gedanken bist du erfolgreich. Danke fürs Teilen.

I feel you. I work full time, do pottery and have a 3.5 year old 😅 I am one step away from a massive breakdown honestly. It’s so hard but also one thing pays my bills and the other makes me feel so good so here I am trying to figure out stuff. You talking about that struggle is so relatable. Also, I can’t believe I subscribed to your channel only today! I always thought I was subscribed lol.

Thank you for talking about how difficult is to have a job and a business. I would love to hear about how you deal with the burnout. We are all living the same life 😂☠️

I feel you. I am full time potter and with this winter that feels like it's never ending I just can't get anything finished. 9ºC in the studio doesn't help. And yes, please let's talk burnout. I have OPINIONS, especially with pottery being so big right now. My partner (who's also a potter) is dealing with one now and actually left studio for teaching. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi Lilly! Love your work and this vid, you just chatting to us like we're hanging out etc. Bit of a moan here, workaround there ;-) I also really apprecate your honesty about how hard it can be. Some folks manage to make it look easy side hustles all over the place and good for them but that's not all our experience by a long shot. I have a hunch people will find you talking about burnout useful. In fact we really should talk about mental health more IMHO. (I had a burnbout three years ago and talking about it seems to help). Oh yes and January has FIVE mondays this year. What's that all about?

Your work is beautiful! I'd like to hear about your burnout experience since I have been through several of those and it is the hardest thing because you just keep telling yourself that you can do it, you can do it, and it's so damn hard to give up on a goal and just let yourself escape from all the responsibilities....

Burnout is really tough, I’m sorry you struggled with it. I would love to hear more about your experience! Currently I’m working 30hrs a week while also starting a ceramics business and trying to be consistent on socials and I’m feeling the strain a little
