Average wage doesn't equal median wage and is very misleading. The median wage for a 40 hour workweek in the US is $3086 according to the source you cited.

All you can get in Antarctica for a dollar is a frostbite. Even a thousand dollars will only get you a frostbite. For 10000 you could probably get a rescue chopper to fly you out of Antarctica, but before that happens you'll still get a frostbite.

Familija A Oh, I'm sorry. I'll just change every word in english that's not spelt the way it sounds while I'm there! Because it's too hard to find out how to pronounce a word for a video, now isn't it? By your logic, we should be changing all of english to accommodate people who are too lazy to look up pronunciations. But, I wasn't even being serious with that last comment. It was a joke, fucktard. Don't talk like you're so smart when you're really so stupid that you can't even tell a joke from something serious.

In the Czech Republic, f. e., newspaper costs cca 86 cents, a bag (150 g) of cheaper chips costs cca 65 cents. With 1 dollar can I have 2 bus rides to school (although as a student I have a 25% discount on the ticket). A normal bit cheaper kind of bread is 70 cents, liter of milk costs from 56 cents, it depens on which milk are you buying. Beer in a normal pub costs cca 1,1 dollar, bottled beer starts on 60 cents, sometimes even less.
