USA Population = 326,474,013. Millionaires = 13,554,000 That means one in 24 people in the states is a millionaire !!!!! That's crazy !!!!
@sportsart23657 жыл бұрын
Yeah its crazy, UK up a bit though at 1 in every 30 people being a millionaire, but still nuts !!!! so in a town of 50,000 that's 2,083 millionaires in the states and 1,650 in the UK both crazy
@dunnowy1237 жыл бұрын
The best thing about the United States is that this money can get you REALLY FAR in some places. Like sure, in NYC or LA, you'll live well, but you can live REALLY well in North Carolina or Colorado. In Canada, each major city (except maybe Montreal) is so fucking expensive, being a millionaire doesn't even seem to matter anymore lol

Even terrorists who probably don't have any plans on directly attacking America sometimes feel like their troublemaking aren't worth it unless they can get the West, particularly America, to take notice.

This makes you think, because around 4% of the US population (according to this vid) is a millionaire. Imagine! That means, statistically, everyone should know 2-3 millionaires. This just proves how badly wealth is distributed. And, yes, I'm kind of salty cuz all I've been eating for the past month were ramen noodles.
@MN-mc8ik7 жыл бұрын
Oscar O. The rich tend to live near each other and the poor tend to live near each other. For example in London most people in the Chelsea brough are millionaires as the cheapest propties props go for like 1.1 million pounds whilest across the thames in places like Croydon apart from landlords you will find it hard to find millionaires.
@oscaro.1727 жыл бұрын
Yea, obviously. Which is exactly why I said 'statistically'. The fact that there are so many millionaires and yet, while I know maybe 90-120 people, I don't know anyone who has even close to a million (while I do live in a rich country, the Netherlands), is quite alarming.
@FervorForFaith7 жыл бұрын
I think the problem with this type of video is the use of the word "millionaire." Being a millionaire means that your net worth is 1 million or more, not that you make 1 million a year. So, most millionaires in the US are probably retirees that put their money away in 401Ks, IRAs, and mutual funds until it grew to over 1 million over the course of 40 years or so. They live no different than other middleclass people, but they are worth 1 million or more. I hope to get there one day.
@kekero5407 жыл бұрын

Sure, but that's really any big city's home owners. Most people living in those cities don't own, many who do have mortgages. You aren't a millionaire if you own 1.1 million in real estate, and have 1.1 million in debt to service. Also 1 AUD = 0.8 USD. So a 1.1M house in Sydney is only worth $880k American.

Kirppu For a new luxury apartment in a great location you can pay upwards of 2mil, especially in the new developments in docklands. For a normal 1-2 bedroom in a nice but not fancy building in the city, it's about 300k. Cheapest I've seen for a livable apartment near the free tram zone was 200k, right near flagstaff gardens. Keep in mind that's in Aussie dollars, that 200k apartment would be 160k usd.

shiine If you are so confident in your betting skills on the stock market, why don't you make your 1k a 1 million?
@shiine48577 жыл бұрын
+Cervix Crusader I never said i will "bet" the money. I invest in stable stocks and keep it as long as I can and buy more stocks from dividend. For example, here in Germany, there is a BIG company called "BASF". There stocks are very stable and they never fell really quick nor rise very far. They pay good dividend per stock so I get like idk from 1million i get around ~ 20000€ a year from BASF. And then I'll invest those 20k again in new stocks. But I wouldn't invest all in BASF. I would spread the 1 million in different stocks. Now to betting: betting is VERY risky but if you do it right, you can cash out very big. but it also has a high risk and you can make from 1 million to 100 dollars very quick. Thats why my family doesn't bet with stocks instead they keep them and invest after a year in new stocks. I hope it answered your question and other ppl found it interesting :)

shiine, id probs still go broke sense it's a gamble either way and u have no experience as a stock market investor
@shiine48577 жыл бұрын
Well, it kinda is a gamble, but there is no reason for a stock that is stable for over 10 years to suddenly fall down. And i DO have experience with the stock market. I can give you some advise if you want :)

In Switzerland, 12.7% of the households are millionaires. But dont think you'll be able to buy a villa with a million. Especially in Zurich (where we got the highest house prices worldwide) it's cancer to find a good looking house for 1 mil. You get like 4 rooms for that price. That's why every child here dies because of the pressure.
