The best ever worlds I can remember and I’ve been watching since s3. The storylines throughout, all the playoffs were so close. The finals going back and forth like they did. Absolutely amazing. Plus topping it off for Deft on his last dance.

@@redflagy8 I respect it but I have to disagree personally. I actually found the opening (unknowingly to be fair) a nice warm up. It felt like a riser. Starting low and powering up throughout the games where as usually it can feel like a massive drop off after the opening ceremony. It was a nice rise of emotion and made the ending that more emotional. It all worked together really really well imo. But that's just my opinion

I want to commend DRX for not getting tilted off the face of the earth after getting 3 barons stolen, it's always a high pressure moment to flip an objective for the jungler because he's expected to secure it. It takes a toll mentally and being able to shake it off like that is amazing to witness.

I honestly think that's what won DRX the tournament - the fact that they brushed off all set-backs and misplays, and were untiltable. T1, on the other hand, basically smashed their way to the finals and let the pressure get to them. They got more and more tilted as the series progressed, and that was capitalized on when DRX decided to leave up Caitlyn. That decision by DRX was basically a tilt check, and T1 showed how tilted they were when they didn't capitalize and go for their power picks.

Honestly the only thing that can go even with this story line is in fact, a Rekkles victory. Not that i think is likely to happen, but watching the final moments i was thinking about what could ever give me the same feels i had, having watched worlds for years now and having seen Deft journey felt surreal and nostalgic all at once. saw a comment on reddit stating that aatrox was out of vission for a while , and T1 was counting somehow that his tp would be down. Honestly , aatrox tp being down would have been game over for DRX , and T1 took the gamble. Sadly it was do or die , because DRX with elder would have dove T1 at nexus anyway. Crazy series , and crazier final tbh. GGs to both , they gave us a final to remember for life !

@@pyropeps No, since healing reduction means sacrificing tons of damage, so Bard wouldn't even have dropped so low in the first place. On current patch it's really bad and rarely optimal and since karma got it, there's no incentive to buy more. Chemtech Putrifier gives the 40% to literally anyone she shields, which is as efficient as it gets.

personally I prefer seeing him, not to talk trash about him or laugh, but quite the opposite, I think a lot of people have felt like he did some time in their lives, obviously not cuz of losing finals but cuz of something you worked really hard towards but in the end didn't manage to achieve it, I feel loads of empathy for the guy, these series would have ended emotionally either way, I'm happy for deft that he didn't have to go through this but I think he still felt bad after seeing keria

Dude there's no way Rekkles isn't watching this just living through Deft at the end. I was never a FNC fan because the G2 villain line was so strong once Caps joined , the FNC run prior was fun to watch but now I wish nothing more than to see Rekkles get one last run at it. Not everyone plays the game the same, and theres critiques from many people on many things, but I can't think of a player more deserving after just hard carrying the European ADC role for YEARS. What a story, I only wish for you it would be the same. Either way your a champion to many people for how you handled yourself and what you accomplished.

Plus, I lost count how many times Zeus and Faker were 2v1. A unique plot twist that will go down in history. If DRX did it, it could be anyone's. Such an uplifting message at the end of the series for rookies.

As a LoL player and Worlds spectator since 2011, it was an incredible Final, absolutely! Now, I would like to hear/read your honest opinion: what do you think about the Elder Dragon buff? I'm not speaking about this Worlds Finals in particular, but after these games, I'm more and more convinced that it should be nerfed, or at least it should be reworked, without the Execution at 20% HP. That execution is too punitive and it negates players' ability too much. In this worlds we have seen a lot of proplayers who, thanks to their skills, survived a fight. With very low HP but still surviving, resetting and regrouping. We all remember Faker against 369's Renekton for example, but also Guma's Lucian who survived a lot of times during a teamfight and took kills too. And also other players, like Zeka against Gen.G and EDG, or Humanoid during the early parts of this Words. Those were all amazing examples of their skills and ability. But the Elden Dragon buff's execution negates all that skill, taking away tons of posibility to survive a fight. I understand that Riot wanted a way to avoid to see a match that goes on and on for an hour or more, but I still see it as a too unbalanced option.

I think you're right, wathever game it was in this worlds, whoever had Elder finished the game 2 min later. It should do less damage, or be rework. But i think that it is à good way to give a possible end to à match, but it shouldn't close all chances to a team. But the problem is, if this drake is not so strong anymore, it will not especially be worth to play it as last potential teamfight, and maybe lose it all if you missplay. The advantages in pro play is that it guaranteed a last teamfight, one of the most important. But then i'm only a lol player since 2020 and watched à bit of worlds last year, but alot this year, so maybe idk all things about it.

No. That's literally the point of the buff. After elder spawns the game should end. The whole idea is that elder is OP so games dont stall out so much.

Kuma in full vision charges up Q for 4 seconds and no one at DRX gets the idea to stop baron damage till his q ran out :S i might be a silver scrub but that seems a bit ......... to me. I know what Pyosik is doing in winter :D Practice objective fights and learn to smite !!!

What skins are you guessing? Idk wich champions theey can choose, is it the ones they playes in the tournament or in the Finals. Well Kingin probably choose Aatrox. i believe Pyosik is going for Kindred if he can, but he only played heca, viego and mao in the finals. Zeka most likely to go sylas, if whole tournament champs counts then akali. Deft i really dont know what he chooses. And beryl ye his Renata was sick in finals, is Heimer carried them good in the tournament, ye and bard would make a nice worlds skin

faker is crazy good at shutting down opponent midlaners but zeka stayed even with him really well and was sometimes even ahead in cs and roam timings. it was actually so cool to see zeka and drx overall adapt to the games and realise late game was key, and we could see that in game 5 when his best champs akali and sylas were open and they first picked azir
