On this kayak catfishing trip, I used a combination of live and cut bait to target blue and flathead catfish. It was a productive morning with several fish being caught including some big blue cats and my biggest flathead of 2021 so far.

You need to take those “curiosity sinkers” to the next level. Paint a bunch more of those sinkers then use a white paint marker and put numbers and such on them to make them individual/unique so people can see the number clear on the sinker on the video. Then mount them in a case with the leader & hook so people can watch the video, see the number, then look up on the wall and see it in a case on their wall.

Hey thanks for the videos ol school catfisherman here and presently I'm living in Northern Maine I moved up here in from Tennessee but do to the fact that my disability is not allowing me to enjoy the outdoors during the winter after only four years I've decided to sell and move back down south and I'm centering my search for a new home around the Santee Cooper lake area. Your catfishing video's have just put an extra stamp on my decision and I'm hoping that someday we can cross paths either when I'm in my kayak or the pontoon boat I'm planning to purchase. It would be an honor to thank you in person or even better to do some fishing with. I'm not a guy who you would have to hold my hand and it would be nice to fish with someone who knows what they are doing... now don't get me wrong I love teaching people or helping people out who don't know what they are doing but sometimes I just want to fish and not have to worry about someone else having a good time and catching fish so who knows maybe we'll get a chance to fish... thanks again I'm definitely taking mental notes...

Nice One Big One, but remember the one of the rules of catfishing, in regards to the one that stole you bait, the larger the catfish the slower is sucks the bait in before they pull the rod tip down to the water, especially freelining or drift fishing as you do.
